The Digital and Technology team at General Mills stands as the largest and foremost unit, dedicated to exploring the latest trends and innovations in technology while leading the adoption of cutting-edge technologies across the organization. Purpose of the role
• This role of Lead Technical Architect in Analytics Platforms team will be responsible for End-to-End Palantir platform management, Governance & Security controls, Setting best practices, proving foundry expertise to project teams to fast-track Palantir Foundry implementation in General Mills
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Palantir Foundry Platform Management - Project Setup, provisioning process, configuration, monitoring definition, Fin Ops structure governance, strategy, and security.
• Construct code & process review sessions to ensure compliance with established standards, governance policies, cost effective, and performance guidelines.
• Design and implement automated workflows and processes within Palantir Foundry to support real-time health metrics for operational decision-making.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of data pipelines and applications to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with Solution/Enterprise Architects, data scientists, engineers, analysts and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and effective use of Palantir Foundry.
• Develop Proof-of-Concept projects to validate new architectures and solutions
• Implement data integration solutions to ingest, transform and manage large datasets from various sources into Palantir Foundry ensuring data quality, consistency and security throughout the data life cycle.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Platform Experience (Palantir Foundry):
+ In-depth understanding of Palantir platform capabilities - Permissions & Controls, Data scheduling, ETL, Ontology Management, Downstream applications (Workshop, Slate, Map, Etc.).
+ Ability to leverage Palantir Foundry tools and functionalities to architect scalable and robust data solutions that meet business requirements.
+ Experience in Cloud Platforms - GCP (Big Query is mandatory), Snowflex, AWS, Azure
+ Experience with Platform management, Architecture & Data Engineering.
• Data Architecture:
+ Strong knowledge of data architecture principles, data modeling techniques, and data governance best practices.
+ Experience designing and implementing data architectures within Platform (Palantir Foundry), including data pipelines, schemas, and data structures.
• Data Integration and ETL:
+ Proficiency in data integration tools and technologies, including experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes.
+ Ability to design and develop data integration pipelines within Platform (Palantir Foundry) to ingest, transform, and integrate data from various sources.
• Programming and Scripting:
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as PySpark , Python, Java, or Scala.
+ Experience with scripting languages and data manipulation tools to automate tasks and optimize data workflows within Platform (Palantir Foundry)
• Data Analysis and Visualization:
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
+ Proficiency in data visualization techniques and tools to develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations within Platform(Palantir Foundry).
• Project Management:
+ Experience in project management methodologies, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
+ Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of solutions within scope and budget.
• Communication and Collaboration:
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Leadership and Teamwork:
+ Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to lead and mentor development teams in Palantir Foundry solution architecture and development.
+ Experience fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment within the CoE, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Broad FMCG Business and Technology expertise
• Good knowledge on Platform Management, Data Engineering & Architecture, AI, ML, ETL, Application Development Experience.
