Job Title: Lead - System Engineering - Cloud Migration Lead DevOps

The Purpose of This Role


As a Senior Cloud Engineer in Architecture Technology Foundation - Cloud Product Line of AM Tech India you will play an important role in integrating cloud-hosted solutions for Asset Management. You will be accountable for building services, frameworks, and common build/deployment pipelines for the next gen AI Platform.

• As a senior Engineer with expertise and experience in developing applications including new developments, enhancements, maintenance, and support. The role involves continuous collaboration with partners, iterative understanding of requirements, following Fidelity best practices / methodologies, thorough understanding of the technology roadmap, advancement to design / development process.
• Consistently making culture choices that positively impact all of engineering. Engineering excellence is a collective set of choices we make as technologists, whether to increase code coverage or ship a product, investing in developer productivity vs saving $$$.

• You have a testing methodology. You demonstrate a test-driven approach to developing software, can build or contribute to automated testing frameworks that can detect any anomalies in functionality, performance, and integration. It's all about beating our customers to finding things that are broken
• You enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment. We work within close confines of our product owners, operations in a collaborative open space environment.

Technical / Behavioral

• Primary Skills: Python, Flask, Cloud Computing (AWS), Docker, Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and CICD Tools: Jenkins/Jenkins Core
• Secondary Skills: Groovy
• Good learning aptitude
• Flair and passion towards new technologies and ideas based on the current platform offering
• Excellent presentation, documentation, and communication skills as well as skills to present/sell technology in business context to the stakeholders

The Cloud Platform (CP) group provides ready-to-use solutions composed of a standard technology stack, development frameworks, reusable software components and services. The ideal candidate must be a solid team player with a strong understanding of the application delivery cycle: design, development, build, and deployment.


The candidate will play an important role in developing integrated cloud-hosted solutions, working on one of our Cloud Platform Products, Opinionated Deployment Pipelines, Gen AI Foundation and Services.

BU Overview -

Asset Management Technology (AMT) supports the Information Technology needs of several investment management organizations within Fidelity Investments, including FMRCo, FIL Investment Management, Pyramis, and Strategic Advisors. There are several technology teams in US / India which work together as a delivery team in providing solutions to the business. ATF (Architecture Technology Foundation) is a technology horizontal for AMT that provides shared technology solution and services by working closely with the IT partner teams and understanding their business requirements.

The Expertise we are Looking For

• 6-10 years of relevant IT experience with at-least 1-2 years hands on with Python and AWS Cloud platform
• Hands on experience building REST APIs using Python-Flask
• Deploy applications in AWS cloud-platform: CloudFormation, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM Roles, KMS, CloudWatch
• Hands on knowledge in building docker images and deploying the same to EKS
• Fair understanding of CI/CD tools Jenkins, Jenkins Core, Sonar, GitHub
• Good learning aptitude. Willingness to learn new technologies swiftly
• Strong communication skills, problem solving skills and adaptability
• Provide on-call / level 3 support for infrastructure incidents and alerts
• It is a plus if you are an associate who can join within 30 days

Location: Bangalore - EGL

Shift timings : 11:00 pm - 8:00pm
