Responsibilities: 5-7 years\' experience on hands on experience as storage and backup administrator for Enterprise organization Knowledge and troubleshooting experience on Backup and storage Environment Knowledge on NetApp, PureStorage and Dell EMC storage Knowledge on NetBackup, Commvault and NetApp Altavault, Datadomain or newer backup solutions Knowledge of handing enterprise storage and backup systems Experience on Tape management Experience on backups to public cloud AWS and Azure. Hands-on experience in implementing solutions using various backup and storage products from NetApp and PureStorage Experience in creating Backup policies, schedules, storage units, managing Linux and windows backup servers Experience in Oracle, SQL, Vmware, NDMP and physical server backups Knowledge of backup process involving all elements in backup infra Knowledge of SAN and NAS Experience in volume provisioning, snapshot, and protection group creation in Purestorage Experience in filesystem and volumes creation, quota, user access, export policy management in NetApp Experience in LIF creation and management, handing NetApp cluster networking Hands-on experience in managing CISCO SAN switches or other SAN switches Experience in Oncommand manger Experience in CLI operations in storage and backup products Experience in Power shell and Python scripts is plus Guide operations teams during escalations Experience in vendor management for support cases Experience in storage and backup capacity management, reporting on the asset utilization and inventor, managing M&S Knowledge on Virtualization technologies like VMware, Nutanix and Citrix Xen Server, TCP/IP Networking Technologies Minimum Qualifications Any B. Tech / M. Tech / MCA with a full time degree
