What You'll Do

Docusign is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join their Notary team, focusing on innovative solutions for global business needs. The role involves supplying to architectural design and software development, collaborating with remote teams, and mentoring colleagues. Key responsibilities include brainstorming, designing, and implementing new solutions, improving team processes, and taking ownership of product features. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in product engineering, particularly C# and the. NET framework, thrive in entrepreneurial environments, and lead by example.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Manager of Engineering. Responsibility

• Perform development tasks as a key contributor by consistently delivering complex engineering projects and assignments on time and to the highest quality
• Collaborate with cross-geo teams
• Be self driven to create POCs and experiment with new technologies
• Lead and oversee development of multiple minor to major technologies and associated project teams by ensuring timely and high quality deliverables across multiple engineering projects and teams
• Lead self and others through new concept development and implementation
• Take full ownership of some of our components, from development to testing to performance tuning





Job Designation

Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What You Bring
------------------

Basic

• 10+ years development experience
• BE/BTech degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
• Experience working with JAVA, C# or other Object Oriented programming
• Experience working with Cloud based backend systems

Preferred

• Prior experience of building Enterprise grade Tools with Public Cloud Usage
• Whilst this role is focused on Back-End engineering, experience with full stack development in one or more of Front End Technologies like REACT or other typescript would be desirable
• A track record of being a self-starter
• Practical experience with any Cloud technologies: AWS, Azure etc
