About IM Function:

The information Management (IM) function develops and manages leading ICT services globally in W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 respecting the differences in the businesses to ensure that W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 gets strategic value from the use of technology and information.

Purpose of the Role:

W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 Enterprise Service Bus (WESB) is an application platform implemented using the Software AG webMethods product suite, used for integrating various internal, and external systems and partners (B2B) related to W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 businesses. We are looking for a mid-senior technical expert to manage technical delivery from partner teams, develop technical solutions, support existing integrations, and provide technical consultation for the integration platform. This is an individual contributor role to manage technical delivery, which includes - Requirement analysis, Solution design and development, technical support, system maintenance, and administration. Besides this, the role will also be responsible for managing the deliverables using standard IM processes, best practices, and other relevant methodologies.

This is a full-time, permanent position based in W\xc3\xa4rtsil\xc3\xa4 India, Navi Mumbai office.

As a \xe2\x80\x9cLead Software Engineer, Integrations Platform\xe2\x80\x9d, you will do

• Technical consultation - Act as a senior technical expert of the integration platform - provide technical consultation for solution designs, solution implementations, and system administration. Review and approve solution proposals.
• Solution Design and Development - Configure, design, and develop solutions - requirement analysis, solution design, implementations, and test case development.
• Technical Support and Operations - Resolve system-level issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with the product support team to raise and escalate unresolved issues. Maintain RCA documents.
• Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate with the partner (vendor) team, who are responsible for developing technical solutions, technical support, and platform administration to ensure adherence to quality solutions and best practices. Engage with business users and other relevant stakeholders as and when needed in various forums.
• Continuous improvements and best practices adoption - Analyse, plan, and implement Platform and solution-level best practices and improvements for optimal system performance. Utilize technology know-how to automate and simplify standard working processes. Create and maintain KEDBs (technical guide, FAQs, How-tos)

As a successful candidate, you should have

• Completed BE/B.Tech/MCA/Post Graduations in Computer Science or other relevant information/computer technology field from a recognized institute/University.
• Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience on Software AG webMethods products (v10.x). Excellent in both EAI and B2B integrations, and knowledge of IPaaS (webMethods.io) will be an advantage.
• Experience in integration development with SOAP, REST, FTP, SFTP, Encryption, etc., and Data transformations for XML, Flatfile, JSON, IDOC, etc.
• Experience in Technical Support and Maintenance of webMethods products on Linux in both On-Premise and Cloud (Azure) environments. Capable of handling Production issues, and working with Software AG on product-related bugs and fixes.
• Experience in ITSM (e.g. ServiceNow) and DevOps (e.g. JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence) tools.
• Good exposure to databases, ERP, and CRM like Oracle, SAP, and Salesforce technologies and their functionalities.
• Good understanding of Architectural guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Good knowledge of performance analysis & tuning, integration testing, and monitoring automation, relevant administration tasks, status reporting, and documentation.
• Excellent Communication skills, Business and Customer-facing skills, and Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills. Should be able to work independently, act as a Subject Matter Expert, and provide guidance to other team members.
• Relevant certification in Software AG webMethods (as Integrations Developer or Admin).
