About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer... In this role, you will: Lead the design and development of complex applications on the cloud using Java programming, object-oriented design, cloud native design patterns, MongoDB, Oracle, Java Spring Boot, microservices, and modern software design principles. Act as a key participant in leading and developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large-scale technology solutions for the Technology Enablement & Pipeline (TE&P)group. Key contributions to application design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation. Examine and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, the enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that necessitate an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or novel technical factors. Good understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, as well as influencing and leading technology teams to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Work closely with stakeholders to understand the existing processes, tools, support models, and pain points identify and implement automation opportunities. Embrace Agile (Scrum/Kanban) practices. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. Required Qualifications, International: 6+ years of Software Engineering experience in Java, Spring Boot, and Python 3+ years of working experience with REST APIs and Apigee. 3+ years of experience in Domain Driven micro services development. 3+ years of experience in solution design of complex enterprise-wide information technology solutions. 2+years of Oracle, Mongo DB experience. 1+ years of experience in front end application development like Angular Experience with the majority of the enterprise-grade CI/CD tools like GitHub, SonarQube, Jenkins, Urban Code Deploy, Artifactory, Blackduck, CheckMarx, Gradle, and Maven. Experience in developing Java applications from a DevOps perspective. 2+ years of experience working in Scrum/Kanban teams. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
