Our culture of connecting, creating opportunity and delivering excellence shapes how we think, how we do things and how we help our people fulfil their potential.Summary of Business Unit/Function:Across LSEGs three divisions - D&A, Capital Markets and Post-Trade, there are multiple processes, systems and teams that source, govern and distribute customer data. This variation has evolved over time as a result of M&A activity and the lack of focus upon centralising and mastering customer data as a core asset.Given the disparate ways of managing customer data, there was a lack of consolidated view of LSEGs customers, their products and services subscribed, entitlements, revenue and margins.The overall Customer Master Data (CMD) programme will provide the capabilities required to support the operational processing and strategic/financial business analysis needs of LSEGs businesses by delivering the following points:

• Consistent, accurate, high quality customer data sourced from authoritative sources
• Centrally mastered customer record for distribution to business users/processes by CDM Operations Team
• Integration right across the LSEG client lifecycle, from prospect identification to KYC to offboarding
• Full transparency of correct Legal Entity Hierarchies
• Robust Data Governance processes and tooling used to govern customer data across the group.

The core business outcome of CMD is to have a centralized single data store which provides consistent customer data for both heritage Refinitiv and heritage LSEG organizations, supported by a consistent and accurate Legal Entity Hierarchy (LEH) which is being delivered over multiple phases.Role Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated developer to join our growing team as an individual contributor to the next-generation platform that drives the standardize customer data usage to fight financial crime with the industry-leading technology stack. You will work with multiple technologies such as React, C#, .NET Core and AWS.The role will have potential involvement throughout project lifecycle phases - from gathering Requirements to Production deployment, and interaction with a wide variety of teams to generate and refine developer-focused resources including cloud architectures patterns, templates for CI/CD pipelines, application builds, automated testing, code scanning to production deployments. The applicant will be responsible for leading the development team in the design, development, testing, debugging, and maintenance of the Customer Master suite of applications and other projects that fit our remit. This includes writing and coding software applications, managing the other developers, helping team members, ensuring on time delivery and staying up-to-date on the newest technologies.There will also be involvement in proof-of-concept implementations, pilots and definition of Principles, Policies and Standards.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Work with the team for requirement analysis and convert requirements to a proper workflow and technical design document and raise clarifications.
• Develop and maintain data load, data sync, API backend services, webpage, and datastore according to the business requirements using the best development practice.
• Ensure our solutions are resilient and all Service Level Agreements are met
• Ensure code is clean, efficient and well documented through constant code review
• Optimize applications and infrastructure for maximum speed and stability.
• Seek out new technologies and ideas to make valuable contributions to our products and build internal knowledge base.
• Build positive relationships with team and colleagues, collaborating closely with the collaborators.
• Communicates clearly and keeps clear lines of communication open to ensure full understanding of tasks, asking questions where needed.

Essential Technical Skills

• Solid experience developing performance-critical applications that run in a production environment using .NET core technology with C# .NET as the backend.
• Solid experience developing web applications in frameworks such as React using typescript or JS.
• Solid experience in automation using languages such as Python and shell scripting
• Familiar with cloud technology with continuous build and integration and code management tools (GitLab, Git Pipeline, Terraform, and Kubernetes).
• Solid experience in code and platform performance optimization for API and data processing service.
• Proven technical background with understanding of cloud technology, programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Great communication and coordination skills.
• Familiar with Agile methodology for software development cycle.
• Good in both verbal and written in English.
• Experience in managing and maintaining Unix and Windows servers

Essential Experience:

• 7+ years of experience in Programming (see preferred languages above)
• 5+ years of experience in working at an Enterprise organisation implementing large scale, niche, end-to-end, advanced technology solutions
• 5+ years of hands-on experience across Cloud Services, SDLC Tools, specifically CI/CD tools - Open-Source or Commercial.
• 5+ years experience in web technologies and API.

Qualifications:

• BA/BS in IT or Engineering-related technology field or equivalent work experience.

Training:Preferred -

• All relevant Programming and Automation Training

Other requirements:

• Strong collaboration and communication skills are a must
• Experience in the Finance industry or knowledge of Financial products is a huge plus
