As a Lead Software Engineer- Automation & Performance Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Commerical Bank team, your role involves being a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Job responsibilities
• Build next generation highly scalable and robust solutions
• Interact closely with the Product owners to align team with the product vision, sprint goals, and other necessary information
• Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for smoke, sanity, functional and regression
• Present solutions to key stakeholders and demonstrate working software to leads and management as needed
• Learn new and challenging technologies and adapt to ensure best software practices and standards
Required qualifications
• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience
• 5+ years' experience in strong programming, development & debugging skills in automation and performance testing roles.
• Strong computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms.
• Solid knowledge of coding languages -e.g. Java, JavaScript, Python
• Good understanding of tools like Selenium, Puppeteer, Playwright.
• Hands-on experience in TDD, BDD frameworks.
• Experience in mocha, chai, cucumber, TestNG/Junit frameworks.
• Knowledge in Linux platform
• CI/CD development environments/tools: Git, Maven, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Good erxperience in developing Test frameworks, tools, strategies, plans, cases and automate using NodeJS/Java
• Must be a critical problem solver with meticulous attention to details
Preferred qualifications
• Prior experience in a banking industry with digital client facing apps preferred
