We are now looking for a Lead Software Developer with 3+ years of Software Development work experience who is passionate to join a fast-growing ed-tech product company.

• Be a part of our development team and actively participate in all phases of the software development life-cycle, including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, development, testing and roll-out, and support.

• Strong team/people management for the lead position

• Solve complex business problems by utilising disciplined development methodology, producing scalable, flexible, efficient and supportable solutions using appropriate technologies

• Teach and mentor junior developers in project implementation methodology and best practices

• A self-starter who is consistently looking to innovate and find ways to enhance our customer experience, with the ability to own epics from end to end.

• Strong technical proficiency, capable of problem-solving and applying critical thinking. A deep understanding of software design principles, algorithms and data structures.

• Elegant technical designs are part of your DNA.

• Proven ability to collaborate among peers, leaders and across functions and business groups. You enjoy and take pride in the work of the team.

• Write clean, bug-free code, ensure coding quality meets industry standards.

Preferred skills

• Strong coding skills in PHP, Python or any other object-oriented language.

• Work Experience in databases prefers MySQL.

• Strong communication skills.

• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design principles and programming methodology

• Understanding of MVC design patterns

• Quick learner and willing to learn new technologies

• Prior experience in client-side rendering technologies (like VueJs, react, angular) is a plus.

• Knowledge of REST API will be an added advantage

• Understanding of code versioning tools (eg: Git or SVN)

• Knowledge of various design patterns.

• Bachelors/Masters Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/experience

• 3+ years of Software Development work experience

Job Type: Full-time Salary: 9360,000.00 - 9800,000.00 per year Benefits:
