About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking Lead Risk Analytics Consultant.
In this role, you will: • Lead Risk Analytics Consultant in Business Intelligence and Data Operations team will be primarily responsible for driving production support and governance along with data controls, data loading, data defect management and data governance for corporate risk reporting & analytics.
• Implement production support and governance (PS&G) strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective PS&G governance in the department.
• Resolve complex issues and lead team to meet projects and process deliverables, while leveraging solid understanding of the risk reporting regulations, data management policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Review and contribute enhancements to data management policies and procedures as required.
• Utilize advanced Alteryx, SQL, SAS, SSIS, Power BI & Tableau and ensure accurate data and reporting solutions.
• Utilize risk knowledge to identify resolutions for moderate to high-risk assigned projects and initiatives.
• Lead and direct a team with limited supervisory focus. Support process training of new and existing team members.
• Lead and manage multiple concurrent Org / Line of Business initiatives & Own and deliver efficiency in the processes.
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve business goals.
• Partner with managers to coordinate data/ insights for critical reporting to executive management, committees, and Board of Directors
• Collaborate with team(s) within and outside CRRA to perform prod data incident, data change impact assessments, process governance and overall documentation as required by Governance and Oversight (G&O) and Enterprise data governance policies.
Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of Risk Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in data management, defect management and data analytics.
• 5+ years of Risk Management experience (Any of the following - Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management)
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of ETL and data visualization tools (Alteryx, SQL, SAS, SSIS, Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong knowledge of data management principles and industry standards
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
• Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important.
• Ability to take on an elevated level of responsibility, initiative, and accountability.
• Ability to lead during times of ambiguity and change.
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment.
• Proven experience with risk and control taxonomy and/or risk and control self-assessment (RCSA).
• Proven experience with Enterprise Risk Identification process
• Experience building and implementing risk program.
• Regulatory or Risk reporting experience (Basel, BCBS 239, Federal Reserve, G&O high risk reports)
• Experience working in agile model and familiar with JIRA.
