To achieve this, you will bring expertise in testing digital changes that utilise Salesforce, establishing yourself as a key partner to our development teams to build and deliver test automation that will give continual feedback to our developers and release stakeholders on the health of our builds.Tech Profile/Essential Skills

  • 10+ years of IT experience.
  • 5+ years experience testing software solutions.
  • 3+ years experience in Salesforce QA engineering.
  • Must have performed testing on implementations that involve Salesforce Experience Cloud or that have used Salesforce in headless implementations behind products such as Adobe Experience Manager.
  • Exposure to open-source User Interface test tools such as Selenium WebDriver.
  • Experience of API Testing using tools such as Postman, SoapUI etc.
  • Experience of working in Agile & Scrum software delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge and experience of CI/CD concepts and how these can be utilised to support continuous testing.
  • Experience with automated testing tools such as Provar, Testim, or Copado Robotic Testing.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-operating system testing for web-based applications.
Preferred Experience/Skills
  • Knowledge / experience of the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of working with tools such as Asana, Jira, and Confluence.
  • Experience in defining test standards and patterns for broader use.
  • Ability to manage own work and multitask to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of priorities under minimum supervision.
  • Hands on experience in programming languages like Selenium Web Driver, Python, Java etc.
  • Experience in automation of REST API / Microservices testing.
  • Experience in managing teams of QA Engineers to a common goal would be beneficial, however not required.
Detailed Responsibilities
  • Interact with Business and Capability teams across multiple timezones to define testing requirements, approach, and sustainable test suites that can be leveraged to continuously test changes being deployed through CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain and update automated test scripts revolving around functional and non-functional requirements that are determined using agreed acceptance criteria and assessed effort through sprint planning.
  • Review tests built by other team members for coverage and negative scenarios and coach on how to resolve issues.
  • Execute and report results of automated and manual tests with the team, summarising results ready for release sign-off and various governance boards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot issues in automated test scripts and provide resolution in a timely manner to support a high throughput of change volume.
  • Report issues and anomalies resulting from testing in the issue tracking system, ensuring that any risks to release sign-off are raised and managed.
  • Research new QA tools & methodologies and suggest improvements to the team.
  • Identify, isolate, and record bugs that impact functional and non-functional areas throughout testing phases.
