This role requires a deep understanding of testing principles, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to design comprehensive test strategies that cover all critical application features.Key responsibilities include leading a team of QA analysts, developing and implementing test plans, coordinating testing activities, and reporting on the quality of the software. The Lead QA Analyst will also be responsible for mentoring team members, improving testing processes, and driving the adoption of test automation.Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and experience in working within a fast-paced agile environment are essential. Familiarity with testing theories, automation tools, and knowledge of the company's products will be gained through collaboration with other team members and self-directed learning.What You Will Do:

  • Lead and mentor a team of testers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Lead and mentor a team of testers ensuring high performance and adherence to testing standards.
  • Define and implement testing processes, strategies, and best practices to ensure consistency and efficiency across module teams.
  • Create and implement detailed test plans that cover all important parts of the software, including both basic and complex features
  • Performs test case quality reviews of peers and junior testers
  • Develop and execute test cases and scripts that ensure the software is reliable and works as expected under different conditions.
  • Identify, document, and track defects through the defect lifecycle, coordinating with developers for resolution.
  • Demonstrates understanding and application of a variety of testing strategies, concepts, practices, and procedures, and evangelizes new concepts, practices, and procedures within the team
  • Serve as the main contact between the QA team, developers, and product managers, automation team, ensuring everyone is on the same page about testing progress, risks, and quality.
  • Analyze test results and defects, identify root causes, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
  • Clearly explain testing results and quality assessments to different audiences, making sure both technical and non-technical stakeholders understand.
  • Actively identify potential areas of improvement in the testing process before issues arise.
  • Support and enhance QA processes

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software testing, and advocate for their adoption within the organization.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the testing process and deliver higher quality software products.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, regulatory requirements, and industry certifications.
  • Lead by example, showing a positive attitude towards solving problems, handling conflicts, and adjusting to changes in project timelines.

What to Bring:
  • Bachelors degree in business, Mathematics, Human Factors, Computer Science or MIS.
  • 8-12 years of experience in software testing.
  • 1-3 years of experience in leading a QA team.
  • Experienced with black box testing and collaborating closely with developers and business analysts.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, with a solid understanding of Agile principles and practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software products.
  • Effective and clear communicator, facilitate meetings, asking right questions, actively listen and ability to collect right inputs
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and achieve measurable results in testing efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Working experience on both web and windows applications.
  • Is experienced with Oracle or SQL Server including writing basic queries
  • Experience with:
  • TFS, Azure DevOps, Test Rail
  • Agile management practices (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Microsoft Excel
