What are we looking for We are looking for a Lead Project Manager - Cement Process Expert who is responsible for managing and overseeing projects related to cement production processes and domain. They possess extensive knowledge and expertise in the cement industry and are responsible for ensuring efficient and effective project execution. Roles Responsible for the Cement plant process control System (design/Implement/maintenance/extensions) Developing overall Conceptual and Basis of Design level design approaches and documentation, providing feasible & cost effective solutions per client needs. Developing Mechanical / Utility equipment and construction specifications. Developing Mill, Kiln & Cooling system P&ID\'s, equipment selections, plans, plant utility distribution plans, and system details. Developing Control system control philosophy, details, Sequence of Operations. Performing construction assistance in submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field visits to verify construction of Mechanical / Utilities scope is executed per the intent of the design, and assisting in start-up of systems when required. Managing and developing mechanical / utilities scope for project budgets and schedules. Traveling as required for client development and project execution. Lead Project mechanical / utilities team from concept design through start-up as required. Analyze & optimise operation of the kiln, raw material & fuel preparation, and the raw mill system Review and analyze operational data to evaluate and recommend changes for efficient and continuous operation Leads daily consultation with the Supervisors and staff to discuss and evaluate kiln performance and the resulting impact on overall production Provide technical expertise to diagnose delays in operations, leading the efforts to remedy problems by taking appropriate actions to restore correct operating procedures Collaborate with the plant Quality Control Department to meet product specifications and with plant Maintenance to communicate kiln maintenance requirements Direct all material handling and refractory replacement projects Analyze and interpret Pyro process data Ensures maximum utilization and performance of process equipment Maintains up to date industry knowledge of kiln/RM operations Responsibilities At least 5 years of experience in cement manufacturing or closely related industry Knowledge of chemistry of raw mix, clinker, and cement Proficient in use of mechanical systems, control systems, and diagnostic skills Detailed knowledge about process equipment interlocking Working knowledge and technical competency in the cement manufacturing process Knowledge of MSHA regulations and guidelines Understanding of or experience using AutoCAD, Revit and other 3D design tools & review software like NavisWorks etc. Good working knowledge in application of 2-D for developing conceptual designs and production design deliverables of complex plants. Guiding modelers /drafters and team for best piping layout design as per industry norms. Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
