Join us in powering the progress of global aerospace.Position OverviewBoeing Production Engineering is currently looking for Lead Product Review Engineer to join their team in Bangalore. This position will focus on Structural Engineering with a broad knowledge of Boeing commercial airplane airframe repair design to support a 24/7 fast paced environment solving Urgent/AOG customer issues.A successful candidate will have knowledge and experience on multiple heritage Boeing and heritage Douglas models in most airframe areas including fuselage, wing, empennage, and payloads structure.Position Responsibilities:The successful candidate will perform the following duties:Apply broad knowledge of Boeing airplane design and/or engineering principles to solve urgent/AOG airframe issues and design repair solutions.Familiar with aerospace industry, military and government specifications, handbooks and standards. Able to read, understand, and interpret advanced engineering drawings andResearches and builds knowledge of Boeing and engineering design principles in order to develop solutions to product/process issues for product Non-Conformances.Solve technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customerConduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for nonconformance\xe2\x80\x99sAbility to work and lead in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.Design of interim and final structural repairs and conduct static strength analysisDevelop minor structural repairsAnalyze repairs and/or damage and develop substantiation for dispositionsDevelop/Review substantiation package for repairs and/or fly-on limitsAnalyze reported problems for potential safety issuesDevelop solutions utilizing sound repair logic, experience, and published dataCollaborate with other support groups to develop solutionsCommunicates with customers if additional information is needed or roadblocks arisePerform review of the requests and determine the best avenue for resolutionReview outgoing messages for qualityCorrespond with Operators through BCS, e-mail, IM and telephoneActs as point of contact for incoming calls and BCS Service RequestsBasic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree is required.Material Review Board Certification experience or similar Liaison Engineering experience.The position requires flexibility to work a nonstandard schedule, which may include working on holidays and weekends, and second or third shift hours to support the Boeing fleet operating in a 24/7/365 environment.6+ years of leading teams / project at various levels.13+ years related engineering experience.The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.Lead and supervise a team of fleet support specialists, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)Customer Service Experience.Liaison / MRB Experience.Experience with Boeing aircraft data (hands on experience is a plus).Airframe and Power plant license is advantageous.Airline experience preferably with structural approval for repairs and embodiment on Boeing.Proven experience in fleet management or a related field, with a track record of successfully.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvementTypical Education & Experience:Typically, 13+ years of related work experience with Bachelor\'s degree or higher in Mechanical / Aerospace Engineering.
