Trip Operations Platform is building marketplace and platform technologies that enable efficiently running scaled operations, such as data annotation for AI/ML, localization/internationalization, testing, document processing, digitization of back office work, map data editing etc, for all Uber\'s lines of businesses and for external enterprise customers across industries. On one side of this marketplace, we create these truly global opportunities for knowledge work and plan to reach underserved workers, traditionally kept out of the knowledge economy due to social/geographic disadvantage, and limited formal education. On the other side, we provide external clients with industry-leading quality, price, and agility for their knowledge work demand.
As a Lead Product Manager on the Trips Operations Platform team, you will be responsible for building platform solutions (e.g., workers and client portal, gig matching, pricing, payments) for this marketplace that achieve economies of scale by interweaving machines and humans into workflows. You will also be building industry leading tools for a wide variety of tech operational processes. The role also involves designing best-in-class technical solutions to provide a delightful experience for knowledge workers and clients. You will be expected to drive this by developing a deep understanding of Uber operations, and creatively mapping the macro-technology trends to solutions we should build.
