:Job Title - PMO Manager, VP \xe2\x80\x93 App Decoms and Risk Remediation - F2B PMO Lead and IB Tech GovernanceLocation - PuneRole DescriptionProgram Management Office (PMO) enables and assures the optimal quality and governance of a portfolio of projects and/or programs by the implementation, monitoring and improvement of the relevant program and project framework, standards, and best practices. The office provides a decision-enabling/delivery support structure for all change within an organization. Covers core topics such as enabling effective Risk Management, Benefit/Financial Management, Resource Management, Quality Assurance, Program Planning & Milestone validation. Ensures the relevant practices, tools, processes, templates, and other related output to support the day-to-day activities of Program and/or Project Managers.The scope of this role includes integrated business planning and processes, resource management, organizational capability building and benefits management. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of key outcomes designated to multiple programs that includes progress management, spend analysis, resource management, budgets and broad set of commercials across the IB & AFCC Technology function (primarily) with relevant, easy to consume business insights for senior management. In addition, you will also oversee the implementation of methodologies, standard best practices, quality improvements and quality assurance across program\xe2\x80\x99s scope of work.
The role is required to manage the Change the Bank Portfolio financials management on dbClarity as well as Cost management on the Provider side. Your role is also expected to support the execution of Headcount management, Organization strategy and support Business management and Vendor Governance activities (if required).The area of work will be as below \xe2\x80\x93

  • F2B Legacy Application Replacement Program \xe2\x80\x93 It is a multi-year program with the objective to reduce DB\xe2\x80\x99s technology costs (by enabling tech saves) by replacing and decommissioning legacy systems for the investment bank, corporate bank, and downstream infrastructure functions and simplifying the architecture. (~140 applications identified for decommissioning work)
  • IB AFCC Tech App Decoms Governance - The IB Technology team has several programs that drive application decommissioning. The Bank wants to track the progress of all application decommissioning by each CIO area and cost benefits thereof. Therefore, IB AFCC Tech CIO (Denis Roux) requires central monitoring of decom activity.
  • Risk Remediation Program \xe2\x80\x93 A set of remediation activities related to Audit and Findings have been bundled up together into Risk Remediation program at bank-wide level to address underlying risks. Funding is centrally sponsored by GTI and the implementation is expected by each CIOs. Consequently, IB AFCC tech have programs under this initiative to progress and mitigate risks to a certain threshold.
  • ADC Cost Governance \xe2\x80\x93 IB AFCC Tech must incur substantial amount of ADC cost every year to keep the technology up and running at required level of significance and stability. There is constant churn of IT requirements that keeps ever evolving making it difficult to manage the delivery and associated costs. Therefore, CIO (Denis Roux) requires central oversight on the delivery and financial management of ADC activities.

Your key responsibilities
  • Ownership of the Change-the-Bank financials management on dbClarity for the designated programs, Call To Action Business case, supporting the IB & AFCC Technology & Group COO Team.
  • Collaborate with designated Tech and COO Teams within IB & AFCC Technology, Pillar 4 team, GTI, etc.
  • Assist in overseeing progress of key results and providing reports to the relevant governance forums.
  • Managing program delivery, monthly reporting, saves data & benefit realization.
  • Assist in creation of Program/ Project Level plans such as resource utilization, change control, financials and portfolio development and maintenance.
  • Produce a consolidated management dashboard to ensure progress against key criteria\xe2\x80\x99s like commercials, schedule, risks, issues and benefits
  • Assist in implementing organizational standards and governance methodologies to ensure a consistent delivery approach across the book of work through the use of project management tools, processes and practices.
  • Managing India PMO team and will be a face off for Business and Group COO team.
Your skills and experience
  • Educated to Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree level or CA or equivalent qualification/ relevant work experience, an Accountancy or Finance background would be beneficial. Post qualification experience of above ~ 14 years.
  • Project Management would be beneficial.
  • Significant experience within a similar role would be beneficial.
  • Effective team member able to work with virtual global teams in a strong matrix organization.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, PPT, Word, SPO)
  • Proficiency in Project Management tool viz. Clarity will be beneficial.
Requirements in details -
  • Financial Management skills (Must have) - Candidate should primarily have a strong experience in Financial Management. Candidate should be able to support on below activities in managing program financials \xe2\x80\x93
  • Documentation of the business case and program key results.
  • Managing and analyzing investment spend (CTA \xe2\x80\x93 \xe2\x80\x9cCost To Achieve\xe2\x80\x9d) and benefits (cost saves). Understanding the nature of cost composition and its drivers.
  • Performing investment analysis (IRR/Payback) to manage cost-benefit of complex projects.
  • Managing planning & forecasting cycles for multi-year projects. Working with key stakeholders to implement budget / cost restrictions (if any)
  • Experience on large IT-based delivery programs (Strong Preference) - Candidate should have experience and understanding of working on large global delivery programs. This entails -
  • Managing multiple projects and stakeholders - Engaging with multiple teams on a timely basis, understanding the commonalities, inter-dependencies in projects.
  • Communication and Reporting - Preparing materials for governance forums. Supporting ad-hoc reporting requirements. Stakeholders include C-suite senior managers.
  • Managing Risks and Issues - Ensuring risks and issue are actively managed and mitigated in time.
  • Maintaining Program Information \xe2\x80\x93
  • scope of targeted activities (at high-level) and tracking progress towards its completion.
  • program delivery data (financials, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, status/RAG) in a program management system (Clarity).
  • maintaining (Word, Spreadsheet, PowerPoint) documentation in a structured filing system
  • Experience of working in a Banking environment (Must have) and good understanding of the different banking functions and its technology departments.
  • Candidate should be good in communication skills (Must have) as the role requires high degree of multiple stakeholder management.
  • Technical skills
  • Excel (Must have) - High degree of competence with spreadsheets to perform financial analysis, data analysis and reporting.
  • PowerPoint (Must have) - Report preparation (not presentations) in PowerPoint. Able to put together high-quality materials for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Clarity tool (Strong Preference) \xe2\x80\x93 Good understanding of Clarity as a program management tool. Ability use to set up, maintain and report on program data.
  • SharePoint (Must have) \xe2\x80\x93 Good understanding of using SharePoint for storing and organizing.
