The Center houses over 70 laboratories and has over 800 research scientists working on various projects. This R&D Center works in close conjunction with other centers across the UK and the Netherlands.Work at the R&D Center results in a wide-ranging suite of capabilities and services\xe2\x80\x94from synthetic organic chemistry to formulations development; from intellectual property management to regulatory science; from polymorphism to bio-pharmaceutics. For our industry customers, we\xe2\x80\x99re able to offer services and solutions for starting material, intermediates, active ingredients and finished-dosage forms. The success of our research organization can be judged by the fact that we have over 170 ANDAs, over 500 DMFs and 86 patents filed in the last five years.Purpose:This role is pivotal in managing R&D projects for China, Brazil & EM portfolio & drive from project selection to approval. This role is also responsible for project management of global development & dossier leverage projects. It will also play significant role to create product-wise and FY budget forecasts (PDC) and manage all projects within the approved budgets. Further it will build sustainable systems & processes for seamless project flow from introduction to filing & approval / launch.Key Responsibilities:Program Management:Shaping up a project master plan, escalation, percolation mechanism for issue resolution on time. Designing and Running Governance Mechanism as per the product strategy. Continuous analysis of the delivery status of the portfolio and proactive corrective measures. Proactively identify bottlenecks in the system and address them in time to facilitate activities for on timely delivery of commitments.Project Management:Maximising the filings committed per FY and maximising WIP milestones for a given FY. Aligning project plans with execution plans, as per the APEX committed timelines. Escalation, percolation mechanism for issue resolution on time.Execution Excellence:Identify areas of improvements during project execution & filing.Lead simplification of systems & processes in line with regulatory & compliance requirements wherever applicable and build robust systems & processes and Enable timely decisions on product development. Planning and managing plant connect, internal FTO/CTO and external plants \xe2\x80\x93 macro (multi-year) to micro (day-wise) planning.People Management:Conduct goal setting, performance appraisals and mentoring/coaching for own team members; collaborate with HR in manpower planning, recruitment activities and identifying training needs of team members; provide training to team members on new processes when required.Education & Experience :

• Post-Graduation in Science, Pharmacy / Engineering graduates preferably with an MBA and PMP certification.
• With over 14 years of experience in pharmaceutical Research and Development (R&D), Portfolio management, including 5 years of dedicated project management experience.
• Complete know-how of Pharma R&D value chain; aligning execution excellence in pharma industry; regulatory & IP landscape for various dosage forms & drug substance.

QualificationsPost-Graduation in Science, Pharmacy / Engineering graduates preferably with an MBA and PMP certification.
