### You Are:


You are a seasoned platform engineer with extensive experience in contemporary software architectures and microservice development. You possess comprehensive knowledge of Kubernetes, cloud technologies, and modern CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise extends to leading a team of platform engineers to innovate and implement state-of-the-art technologies within the product development lifecycle. You excel in architecting and developing scalable, modular platform solutions that promote reuse and are easily integrated into diverse product suites. Your skill set includes designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or similar. You drive the strategy for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) within product offerings. Establishing best practices for modern software architecture, including microservices, serverless computing, and API-first strategies, is second nature to you. You have a strong understanding of AI and machine learning capabilities, which you integrate into the platform to facilitate smarter workflows and predictive analytics. Ensuring the platform's infrastructure is robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards is your forte. Your collaborative nature allows you to work effectively with cross-functional teams, incorporating user feedback into the platform's development. With a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years of experience in software development (including at least 3 years in a tech lead or architectural role), you bring deep understanding of distributed computing, CAP theorem, and system design trade-offs. Your proven expertise in cloud computing services, container technologies, and Infrastructure as Code is complemented by your experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with modern software delivery ecosystems. AI/machine learning frameworks and tools are areas where you excel, and your problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills are outstanding. You communicate effectively to collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders, and Linux Foundation certifications (CKAD, CKS, and/or CKA) are highly preferred.

### What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading a team of platform engineers to innovate and implement state-of-the-art technologies within our product development lifecycle.
• Architecting and developing scalable, modular platform solutions that promote reuse and are easily integrated into our diverse product suite.
• Designing and implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Pulumi, or similar.
• Driving the strategy for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) within our product offerings.
• Establishing best practices for modern software architecture, including microservices, serverless computing, and API-first strategies.
• Driving the strategy for containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm charts.
• Integrating AI and machine learning capabilities into the platform to facilitate smarter workflows and predictive analytics.
• Ensuring the platform's infrastructure is robust, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and incorporate user feedback into the platform's development.

### What You'll Need:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a tech lead or architectural role.
• Deep understanding of distributed computing, CAP theorem, and system design trade-offs.
• Proven expertise in cloud computing services (AWS, Azure, GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) models.
• Background working with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with modern software delivery ecosystems (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Harness.io, GitLab CI, etc.).
• Experience with AI/machine learning frameworks and tools is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Strong communication abilities to effectively collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders.
• Linux Foundation certifications: CKAD, CKS, and/or CKA (highly preferred).
