Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, detailing, and drafting of industrial structures and pressure parts, including boiler structures. This role requires a thorough understanding of structural engineering principles and the ability to apply them to the development of safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Analysis:
• Conduct structural analysis and design of industrial structures and components, including pressure parts, non-pressure parts, and boiler structures.
• Utilize relevant codes and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety guidelines.
• Perform load calculations, stress analysis, and material selection to ensure structural integrity and performance.
• Detailing and Drafting:
• Prepare detailed drawings, and specifications for construction and fabrication using CAD software.
• Collaborate with drafters and other team members to ensure accurate and precise detailing of structures and components.
• Project Management:
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project specifications and budgets.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review project documentation, including reports, proposals, and technical manuals.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct inspections and reviews of completed structures and components to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
• Implement quality control procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering processes.
• Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with other engineers, designers, and project managers to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Participate in team meetings, design reviews, and brainstorming sessions to share knowledge and ideas.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PE, SE) is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering, with a focus on industrial structures and pressure parts.
• Proven experience in the design and analysis of boiler structures and other industrial components.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ZW CAD) and structural analysis tools (e.g., STAAD. Pro, ANSYS).
• Strong knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME, API, AISC).
• Excellent understanding of material properties and fabrication processes.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong project management and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?25,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
