Job Description
The Lead Manufacturing Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the manufacturing processes and improving operational efficiency within the plantAs a manufacturing manager you will report into the plant head and will be responsible for the following-
- Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing processes and ensure optimal productivity and ensuring volume delivery, capacity and capability build. Personally ensure throughput of any installed equipment in the factory is adhering to time and target.
- Implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and quality
- Coordinate with various departments to meet production goals and building stable working environment and improvement cultures within department to support collaboration for achieving defined targets, and vertical start-up for projects
- Ensuring adherence to safety and hygiene regulations
- Monitoring equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Tracking and report key functional metrics and planning for annual costing, budgeting to manage operations to deliver the volumes with 7% productivity after volume/mix
- Managing and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
- 8-12 years of overall experience in the FMCG industry
- Open to Chandigarh as a location for 6 days working from the site
- Candidate should come with experience dealing with the Food/FMCG industry
