You will interact with people from all over the world and get the chance to a truly international organization.The Lead - Lease Coordination is responsible for analysing and reviewing lease agreements to ensure compliance with IFRS 16 guidelines and local laws, updating and maintaining the contracts in LEAP, and ensuring that transaction accounting is complete and reconciled. This role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of lease contracts, excellent analytical skills, and attention to detail. The Lease Coordinator will act as a contact point for queries regarding contract entry in LEAP or general IFRS 16 queries.Key Responsibilities:Lease Contract Review:

  • Review all new or renewed contracts to validate adherence to IFRS 16 guidelines on long-term and short-term leases and maintain the Lease Log.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of lease clauses, lease renewals, termination clauses, and maintenance responsibilities.
  • Identify any discrepancies, ambiguities, or potential risks within lease agreements and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and organized documentation of lease agreements and related information.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends related to lease agreements and make recommendations for process improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to internal teams regarding lease contract terms and obligations.
Lease Accounting and Reconciliation:
  • Update the LEAP database for long-term leases and the LEAP tracker for short-term leases.
  • Identify differences on the reconciliation account together with the RTR team.
  • Ensure that process documents related to leases are regularly updated.
Finance & Projects:
  • Responsible for ensuring processes are executed in line with IFRS requirements, and drive projects for improvement in the lease process.
People Management:
  • Manage a small team (1-2 members) ensuring high engagement and performance levels.
Measurement Criteria / KPIs:
  • Achievement of EBIT targets.
  • Adherence to operating costs.
  • Meeting annual IKO targets depending on business requirements.
  • KPI defined per project.
  • Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) scores for team management.
Requirements for the Job:Divisional Experience:
  • Excellent understanding of finance processes, particularly Record to Report (RTR).
  • Proven experience in lease contract review or related legal or financial roles.
  • Familiarity with lease accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 16) is mandatory.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage own time and tasks.
Geographical Experience:
  • Experience working within a complex matrix structure within regions and shared service centers.
  • Alignment between Finance and Procurement.
  • Coordination with Country/Global Stakeholders as required.
  • Education / Qualification / Certification Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Law, Finance, or a related field.
  • IFRS certified, Certified Accountant (CA, CWA, CS).
  • Minimum 10+ years of work experience, preferably in Finance.
Language Requirements:
  • Any foreign language proficiency would be an added advantage (Level B1).
