Job description for Lead Instrumentation Engineer
Educational Qualification: Graduate or Masters in Electronics/ Instrumentation Engineering. . Experience in Telecommunication system design will be added advantage.
Experience: 8+ years of experience in Instrumentation Engineering for offshore/wellhead facilities with min. 5 years\' experience in FEED and Detail Engineering
Roles & Responsibilities:
Conversant with Control System DCS/ESD/F&G and Field Instruments such as Control/Safety Valves, HIPPS, Transmitters, Analysers, Gauges etc.
Conversant with communication systems for offshore.
Layout engineering and MTO, Engineering drawing check.
Knowledge of IEC / API standards.
Participation in HAZOP & SIL study
Preparation of Instrumentation specifications and Cause and Effect
Preparation of Datasheets and control philosophies
Experience of SCADA/DCS, Navigational Aids
BOQ/MTO
Lead a team of Instrumentation & Controls Engineers and work towards successful completion of an Offshore Oil & Gas Project
Complete responsibility of Instrumentation discipline from Engineering to Commissioning of an Offshore Oil & Gas Platform Responsible for Engineering / Fabrication Co-ordination with client / Fabrication Yard / Vendors / EPC for Timely delivery of engineering deliverables,
Managing Client for getting approval on engineering deliverable. Approval of Vendor documents, engineering drawing and documents. Coordination with client procurement team, other disciplines, Yard team.
Assistance to site construction team, QA&QC during FAT, SAT and site check approval from Client. Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of Instrumentation Systems such as DCS/ESD/F&G, CCTV, Telecommunication System etc. at Yard & Offshore Site
Software knowledge:
InstruCALC, SPI, MS Office,
