Principal is hiring an infrastructure architect to lead architecture practice for enterprise datacenter landscape.Joining location: PuneKey Responsibilities:

• Responsible for end-to-end infrastructure design and architecture across enterprise datacenter components like Network, Servers, Virtualization and Storage (both on-prem and cloud, AWS preferred)
• Acts as expert for infrastructure teams in the plan, design, and delivery of IT solutions.
• Advises teams on IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes.
• Develop short- & long-term architecture strategy for the overall IT Infrastructure portfolio in alignment to global roadmaps
• Develops enterprise standards to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
• Research new and emerging technologies to maintain awareness of industry\xe2\x80\x99s direction.
• Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
• Responsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new solutions.
• Ability to effectively collaborates with Global teams spread across Multi-geographies. (Infrastructure teams, project management team, delivery teams and industry partners)
• Participates in cross functional projects and initiatives.
• Lead discussion via presentations and white papers which act as a reference point for the infrastructure teams.
• Maintains a track of key decision and tradeoffs in infra space with apt articulation and signoff from required stakeholders.
• Understands SAFe methodology and participates effectively in Infra planning sessions.
• Helps Infra group develop strong engineering mindset and competencies.
• Proven ability to mentor, coach and lead Infra teams across multiple domains.
• Excellent understanding of conflict and risk management across technology, people, and processes.
• Deep understanding of security standards and frameworks.

Skills & Experience:

• Must have

o Broad & deep understanding of Datacenter landscape for both active and passive components.
o Good understanding and previous hands-on experience around Network technologies like Cisco legacy & SD networks, ACI, DNA, DNS, DHCP and Load balancing.
o Good knowledge on desired network security posture. Technologies exposure around Proxies, Firewalls, IPS, IDS. Any exposure to Zero-trust framework (e.g. Zscaller) will be preferable.
o Good knowledge on VMware Hypervisor, SAN & NAS storage technologies.
o Proven experience towards adaptation of Orchestration framework for MS / Linux environments.
o Understanding of application, server, backup, DR, BCP, compliance, and network security and their interdependencies.
o Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills.
o Design documents, presentations, diagrams & SOP preparation skills
o Proven experience of being able to connect at senior leadership level and exhibiting thought leadership.
o Exposure to migration of On-prem applications to Cloud.
o In-depth understanding of NIST Framework and Compliance.Good to have
o Experience of DevOps engineering skills (e.g., PowerShell, Python, CI/CD pipeline, GitHub, Jenkins, PowerBI)
o Experience of multi cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) & hybrid networking
o Knowledge of Cloud security frameworks, controls, toolsQualifications:Graduate \xe2\x80\x93 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (Engineering)

• Certifications \xe2\x80\x93 VMware Virtualization/ Cisco Network / Software Defined Networks / Storage SAN & NAS (Preferred)
• AWS Associate Architect certificate (good to have)
