### Role description


Role Proficiency:



Act creatively to develop applications by selecting appropriate technical options optimizing application development maintenance and performance by employing design patterns and reusing proven solutions. Account for others' developmental activities; assisting Project Manager in day to day project execution.



Outcomes:



• Interpret the application feature and component designs to develop the same in accordance with specifications.


• Code debug test document and communicate product component and feature development stages.


• Validate results with user representatives integrating and commissions the overall solution.


• Select and create appropriate technical options for development such as reusing improving or reconfiguration of existing components while creating own solutions for new contexts


• Optimises efficiency cost and quality.

• Influence and improve employee engagement within the project teams


• Set FAST goals for self/team; provide feedback to FAST goals of team members

Job Summary The Senior Software Engineer works collaboratively with engineering management, product managers and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing solutions. Performs analysis, design and development of complex modules along with providing guidance to other junior software developers. Accountabilities Develop and coordinate estimates for software defects, new features and enhancements that are included in service releases. Participate in discussions regarding new product development and product enhancements. Design, document, code and deploy new features and defects for system related issues. Participate in generating high level estimates, planning for future features, and task estimates for software defects and features. Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle. Design review, code review and debug code Basic Qualifications: Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts Strong development experience in the .NET technology - 3.1/6.1 . Net Core and .NET framework, ASP.NET MVC 3/4/5, ASP.NET Web API, Blazor Languages - C#, Typescript, Java script, SQL Strong understanding on DB concepts in SQL Server, stored procedure, ADO .NET, Entity Framework 6.4 (ORM) Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines like Harness or Jenkins Proficiency in Git and source control branching strategies Implementation knowledge of RestAPI, SOAP, 3rd Party Integrations Automated unit testing - MSTEST/NUNIT Good understanding of Design patterns High attention to detail and strong debugging and problem-solving skills Good to have knowledge on SSO, Multi Factor Authentication Available for overlap during US hours for production deployment, handoffs and support Good grasp of standard SDLC / Agile development methodologies Excellent communication skills both written and verbal Preferred Qualifications: 5 - 8 years of experience in development experience Experience using Atlassian tools such as Jira, Confluence and BitBucket Knowledge on Azure cloud services Integration of SonarQube, Dynatrace, Checkmarx tools Good understanding on Security guidelines, Penetration testing, Scalable application development
