Additional Comments:
A strong technically minded SME is needed to engage with Compliarice and Technology peers, to expand Trade Surveillance requirements. This candidate will operate within realms of business analysis, stakeholder relationship and collaboration, and work within a strong Agile squad. Strong client stakeholder skills will be paired with ability to build and then mobilize knowledge of data and system workflows related to institutional trading and will require technical ability to perform such analysis in order to successfully execute this work. In this role you will be able to expand your domain and technical knowledge with working with leading colleagues in this space, and take on mission critical projects supported by business and regulatory objectives. Agile squads you will operate in are highly empowered and reactive teams to help deliver the best quality outcomes for the business. Key Responsibilities -Partner with the business to help translate or fine tune high-level business requirements into detailed functional, testable specifications (using BDD frameworks). - Work as a member of an Agile squad in the development of trade surveillance controls. -Perform feasibility analysis, scope projects, prioritize deliverables, recommend alternative solutions and project strategies to come with the most robust and commercial solutions. -Act as SME to business working with them on system and data questions. Skills required: -Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field OR Bachelor's degree in a business/finance related field with technical experience -Strong SQL and Data Analysis knowledge is a must Good understanding of Agile SDLC concepts -Relevant and substantial work experience with business requirements definition and management -Relevant and substantial work experience with business requirements definition and management (end to end), structured analysis, process design, and use case documentation - Strong analytical and problem solving skills -Strong communication skills both verbal and written Effective collaborator across a variety of IT and Business groups, regions, roles and levels - Ability to influence decisions/ mindsets Skills desire: -Strong financial product experience preferred (equities and/or fixed income and/or derivatives) - Experience building visualizations such as with Tableau or ad-hoc notebook technologies -Knowledge of Java, Scala or Python is a plus
