Job Summary Deluxe is seeking an extremely knowledgeable Senior AWS Cloud Engineer with a passion for problem solving. You will make recommendations and help to create and maintain cloud services for developers that use this infrastructure for their software. You will need great collaboration and communication skills as you will spend a large part of your role interacting with developers and non-technical stakeholders. The Senior AWS Cloud Engineer works collaboratively with engineering management, product managers and other software engineers to create, maintain, and evolve Deluxe AWS cloud infrastructure for running applications. This position involves designing, building, and managing cloud-based applications and services using Amazon Web Services (AWS). Accountabilities Providing comprehensive systems administration functions on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure Understand the current application infrastructure and suggest changes to it. Supporting AWS products such as AWS Console root user administration, ECS, Key Management, EC2 Compute, API Gateway, Lambda, S3 Storage, Relational Database Service (RDS), AWS Networking & Content delivery (VPC, Route 53, ELB, etc.) Ensuring the security and scalability of cloud infrastructure Developing and maintaining cloud-based applications and services Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions Troubleshooting and resolving issues with cloud infrastructure and applications Basic Qualifications: oThe ability to problem-solve complex problems residing in the cloud. oMay coach other technical staff. Works as team leader when interfacing with other groups. oServes as lead to support or perform automated functions for Information Security services delivered within Deluxe. oGood Database experience using SQL Server in queries, joins, triggers oAdvanced knowledge of Windows and Linux infrastructure, database technology, web applications in context of AWS ecosystem. oFamiliar with CI/CD pipeline technologies and processes, Infrastructure as Code, basic network engineering, Preferred: o Experienced with Windows and Linux security, database security, and web application security. o Familiarity in integrating with 3rd party solutions through REST APIs in a secured way oExcellent communication skills and problem resolution/troubleshooting ability.
