Job Responsibilities Customer is seeking a Systems Engineering Tools Team within Model based design organization. This is a cross-functional role that will be responsible for deploying the IBM ELM tool suite to product development teams. This is a global deployment across multiple product and business areas, including climate control, fire & security and intelligent building management systems product lines. This role will also develop strategies for applying and using the IBM ELM tools within new product development processes and drive the architecture and evolution of the IBM suite within Customer business units. This Specific responsibilities for this position will be: Configuration, Customization and Managing IBM ELM application lifecycle management toolchain Developing custom tools, tool customizations, tool integrations and user interfaces The Engineer shall be able to understand the user requirements and synthesize solutions that can improve the design workflow Deploy these best practices and project templates by leading new project teams in adopting the IBM Jazz tool suite through on-site \xe2\x80\x9cdeployment workshops\xe2\x80\x9d Develop a cadre of regional IBM Jazz administrators that will provide local project team support to specific geographical regions Monitor tool performance and end user issues and work with IT infrastructure team, IBM support and 3rd party consultants to resolve Identify tool capability gaps and maintain a tool roadmap that captures how the IBM Jazz collaboration tool suite and its integrations with 3rd party engineering tools will evolve through time Be the advocate for the business needs and regularly communicate IBM Jazz status, business benefits achieved, challenges, risks or issues, and recommendations on the evolution of the tool suite to senior leadership Education Master\'s degree in Electrical/Electronics/Controls Engineering with 5+ years of experience Experience/Qualifications Required Technical Skills/Education: - Administrate, configure, implement, and maintain support for IBM ELM Tools (CCM, QM, RM, RMM, JRS, LQE, DCC, LDX etc.) & DevOps tools - Jenkins - Experienced in Developing the Advance Repots using JRS and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Optimization - Publishing (PUB) - Experience in UML modeling and IBM Rhapsody and RMM, including the development of Rhapsody plugins and MATLAB Integration - Strong experience in Java programming, Python and C/C++ programming - Experience in the use of the Eclipse framework and in the development of Eclipse applications - Experience in custom tool development, tool integrations and IBM ELM OSLC Widgets development - Document system architecture of solutions or complete application landscapes - Experience in deploying complex tools at the enterprise/suite level - Understanding of enterprise-level IT support practices - Experience interacting with IBM\'s Problem Management Report (PMR) system for reporting problems or accessing OEM bug fix help Preferred Technical Skills/Education: - Broad set of technical skills and expertise in machine learning focused on cutting edge technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence (AI), and Parallel computing. - Experience in the use of the IBM Jazz environment - Experience in the use of EMF language for data manipulation - Experience with web service REST and OSLC programming Additional Comments This candidate must be highly motivated, organized, self-driven, and able to function in a global team environment (USA, China, India, and Europe) and demonstrate problem solving and analytical thinking skills. This position will be preferably located in Hyderabad, India.
