What will you be responsible for?
  • Be part of Identity and Access Management (IAM) Operations team. Participate and advance the IAM Operations capability operating out of India.
  • Ensure that security policies related to identity and access are consistently applied and enforced.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of user identities, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring timely provisioning and de-provisioning.
  • Grant and revoke access rights based on job roles, responsibilities, and personnel changes.
  • Improve IAM solutions for better threat protection, operating efficiency, and user experience.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate IAM solutions with other systems and applications.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify and address security vulnerabilities, ensure adherence to industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with IAM, and implement measures to enhance overall security.
  • Respond to security incidents related to identity and access, investigate breaches, and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay updated on current IAM threats and industry solutions.


What would your day look like?
  • Oversee and enforce policies related to user identity and access, ensuring compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Create identity, role, persona, and access policies. Grant and revoke access rights. Modify role and persona.
  • Troubleshoot, identify, and resolve technical identity and access related issues.
  • Monitor service request / ticket queues or shared mailboxes for IAM requests, either provide a resolution or escalate to the Engineering queues as appropriate.
  • Create and maintain documentation of IAM processes and activities, and generate reports for management and audit purposes.
  • Collaborate with application and business unit teams to define and configure roles and personas for Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on IAM solution related matters, esp. to identify, investigate, and remediate security vulnerabilities and mitigate risks.
  • Perform security readiness audits and support internal and external security auditing on IAM solutions. Report on solution security status.
  • Identify major IAM solution deficiencies and define/craft pragmatic approaches on how to remediate them at scale.
  • Evangelize and promote IT Security culture across the organization.


Who are we looking for?
  • 4-year University (Bachelors) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or STEM fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of Information Systems experience, 4+ years of hands-on IAM operations experience in Cloud and Hybrid environments.
  • Strong knowledge of user identity lifecycle management, access controls, authentication mechanisms, request-authorization frameworks, and general IT security policies.
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for user self-remediation.
  • Hands on experience and knowledge of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools (Saviynt - preferred, SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, etc.).
  • Preferred familiarity with ITIL & DevOps.
  • Preferred experience with scripting or programming (shell scripting, PowerShell, Python, etc.) and databases (MySQL, etc.)
  • Ability to perform work independently with a high degree of initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and high commitment to quality.
  • Proficient in writing/creation of formal documentation such as reports, presentations, and SOPs.
