Job Summary . Understand and review business requirements for testability Communicate effectively with developers and QA peers to resolve defects/issues Create and maintain test cases/scripts Perform peer review of test cases/scripts Responsible for deployment, acceptance of builds Validate build notes provided by development team Perform the overall testing effort for the assigned product and qualify the release health from QA perspective Technical Skills Mandatory Experience in manual testing including functional testing, regression testing, Backend testing, Integration testing and UAT. Candidate should have thorough understanding of Web based systems and various web architecture components. Knowledge on tools like, TestRail, Jira, Intellij, SQL server, Postman. Strong knowledge of testing concepts, DB and API. Candidate should be well verse with Scrum methodology. Must have strong communication skills and should be able to work independently Strong knowledge of software testing methodology and hands-on application test experience Ability to quickly grasp the application domain and functionality Strong experience creating and maintaining test cases/scripts Experience & exposure to defect management and test management tools Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment A natural communicator who can explain esoteric technical concepts in clear, plain English (both written and verbal) Desired Experience / Exposure to testing applications in software's in materials handling and distribution / warehousing logistics Roles & Responsibilities Project Activities To participate in Requirements study from the beginning of the project To create test strategy that meets customer requirements To prepare test cases / test scenarios To perform functional, integration, system, regression testing and other types of testing if applicable To test the products in accordance with test strategy and test cases and record deviations To log defects and track them to closure To complete assigned tasks on time To update task and defect status in the defect tracking tool on real time basis To communicate the status of the project and any issues that may affect the task completion date, to the QA Lead/ Project Leader To participate in peer reviews whenever required To participate in the scheduled team meetings, review project status meetings Others To contribute towards the Organizations' Knowledge Base To carry out any other responsibilities as defined in project responsibility matrix Authority Authorized to execute test cases and release the tested code to the leader Personal Attributes Mandatory Good analytical and communication skills Attention to details Patient and persistent Assertive Fast paced learner Good in client interaction and articulation A good team player Desired .
