The role will primarily focus on the quality of our highly available applications by means of automated and manual testing and building solutions to test applications. Your challenge will be reducing the time to market for products without compromising quality, by using automation and innovation. A passion for quality and a sense of pride in your work are an absolute must for the role. The business domain (Corporate Actions) is highly complex, and an interest in the business domain is an absolute necessity for the role. • Gain experience in complex processing of all core CA and trade services which include asset servicing, securities, and cash processing.

Responsibilities:

• Apply, design & develop automated testing strategies, and build automated testing suites.
• Execute test scripts, analyze failures, report defects & generate test execution reports.
• Identify test cases suitable for automation and performance testing.
• Automate the testing of both APIs and GUIs
• Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
• Document test cases and their execution
• Work in a team-oriented environment and work independently.
• Work with the development and business analysis teams to develop acceptance test plans for new products and new functionality on existing products.
• Execute test plans and report defects to development and business analysis teams. Verify fixes from development.
• Should be able to estimate the testing efforts for automation, from high level requirement.
• Help setup and manage multiple test environments.
• Ability to work with remote team in a geographically distributed development model.
• Agent of constant improvement - within QA and across the company.

What We're Looking For:

• B. E. degree in an IT/ Computer Science or related course is a prerequisite (Experience 8 to 11 years)
• Experience in automation testing and development of complex test suite.
• Excellent knowledge of tools and techniques for:

• Automation Testing
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Exploratory Testing
• Experience in testing web applications and databases will be advantageous .
• Experience on defect management tools like JIRA, HP Quality Centre or any other tool
• Experience with design and development of manual test cases/test suite based upon functional and design specifications.
• Knowledge of testing/QA methodologies like Selenium and other processes.
• Experience with database schemas and querying tools (i.e., SQL) - advantage
