Job Description


:Job PurposeLead HR Compliance is responsible for leading HR Compliance of HO/ZO/Stores/WH/Factories at ABFRL level to ensure Statutory and Labour Compliance through coordination with ABFRL HR, Legal Team and other functions.

  • Liasoning with required statutory authorities or as directed
  • Advisory role holder for compliances of HO/ZO/Stores/WH/Factories
  • Responding to various Notices from Authorities ensuring closure of the gaps
  • Audit of Principle Employer and other vendors on Statutory Compliance
  • Publishing analytics and risk management report
  • HR Due Diligence and onboarding of new Businesses of ABFRL
Job Context & Major ChallengesThis role is responsible for checking ABFRL Compliance operations and transactions follow all relevant legal and internal rules. Maintain all the employees statutory compliance data for future audit purposes.The individual will work with Human Resources within the Company and third-party service providers related to the following.Employees Provident fund

KRA1 Compliance Strategy and Execution at ABFRL level Guide, strategize and execute policies and schemes to satisfy compliance demands
Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them
Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed
Understanding compliance practice at ABFRL level, vendors associated, scopes driven and aligning to the business and work towards process evolution.
Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation
Responsible for statutory laws affecting Indian Payroll viz. PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, Minimum Wages, Shop Act etc.
Collaborate and monitor enforcement of standards and regulations.
Identify and mitigate possible HR compliance risks
Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practice in compliance control
KRA10 Team Management Training & Development of team members for skills & knowledge upgradation
Weekly Review and Audit of processes with team for seamless delivery on this process
KRA2 Employee Benefits / Compliance Knowledge Communication Circulating information to educate employees on Labour Laws and new codes
Updating the recent amendments in terms of labour laws and sharing with employees
Communicating with HR function leaders (CHRO, VP of HR, etc) to keep other executives up to speed on potential HR compliance risks and recommended remediation. Training on Statutory and Compliance domain. Designing compliance policies and procedures by aligning with business and with government regulatory requirements.
KRA3 Provident Fund and Employee State Insurance Corporation Managing the records of New Joiners profile creation and PF member ID allocation, Monthly challan payments
Verifying all statutory compliance related documents of new joinees and ensuring timely submission. Creation of new joinees profile on PF and ESIC portal and updating mandatory KYC before remittance
Validating the reports received post payroll for each of the employees and highlight the difference (if any)
Post correcting the difference, send the report to third party and generate the challan within the TAT
Ensure remittances 2 days prior to due date
KRA4 Professional Tax (PT) Handling PAN India stores PT and LWF compliance and ensuring timely registration for all applicable stores, filling monthly and periodical returns and remittance. Coordination with labour authority to close notices.
SPOC for Notices response
Validation of employee PT deductions
KRA5 Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) Processing and maintain records of PAN India Half yearly and Yearly challan payments
SPOC for Notices response
Vidation of employee LWF deductions
KRA6 HR DD for New Business/subsidiaries of ABFRL M&A related work including due diligence
New Business set-up and compliance alignments
Onboarding & Integration of New Businesses
KRA7 Data Management Preparing monthly and periodical returns and registers and producing the same for internal and external audit. Filling online and off line returns and remittance on or before due date to various departments.
Creating MIS for reporting to Senior Management.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly and annual payroll compliance dashboards and reports and statements to appropriate internal stakeholders as required
KRA8 Advisory to all Businesses for compliance Factory & Store compliance governance
ABFRL representative for discussing point of view on Compliances with ABG Compliance SPOC
Compliances Internal audit framework set up frame and period reviews for process gap analysis and corrective actions
Checklist for compliances set up and execution at ABFRL level
Analysis of Critical compliance issues for prevention and corrective actions
KRA9 External stakeholder and outsourced services vendor management Identify and empanel suitable consultants
Monitor and track the performance of external partners
Develop and build an effective network through industry contacts, association memberships and staff members.
