:Job PurposeTo design, support and implement communication plans to strengthen the reputation of the UltraTech brand xe2x80x93 internally and externally, through proactive credible communications among its multiple internal and external stakeholders.Job Context & Major ChallengesInternal Communications: UltraTech is the largest cement company in India with a pan India presence and also in the Middle East. The geographical and cultural diversity of our employees poses a challenge for corporate communications to reach out to them and engage with them on a proactive basis. Various tools, platforms and processes have to be developed regularly to ensure smooth communication to the entire employee base.External Communications: Reputation management of the organization through PR activities, social media and crisis communication. Frequent interactions with senior management to ensure all external communication are in sync with the business goals.The job holder will support the Head, Corporate Communications to identify communication initiatives that have the desired impact and then implement them.Key Result Areas KRA (Accountabilities) (Max 1325 Characters) Supporting Actions (Max 1325 Characters)
KRA1 To conceptualize and execute External Communication Projects for businesses, so as to enhance their image. xe2x80xa2 Support Head, CC in media interactions

  • Research White Papers on various functions and initiatives
  • Create, maintain and enhance UltraTechxe2x80x99s digital presence (including content on website, social media platforms and analytics)
  • Support Head xe2x80x93 CC in business collaterals including Sustainability Report, Annual Report, Corporate Brochure, Corporate Video, among others
  • Work with functions to write and feature technical articles in publications, which will enhance UltraTechxe2x80x99s position as an expert
  • Prepare detailed profiles of senior leadership
  • Ensure scanning of media coverage on a daily basis pertaining to the company, industry, competition and general interest article. Ensure distribution to interested parties.
KRA2 To drive, conceptualize and execute UltraTechxe2x80x99s corporate intranet such that it becomes a one stop shop for all information, collaboration and applications across the business. xe2x80xa2 Work as the Project Manager for the new intranet during the launch phase.
  • Work with Business Users for requirement gathering and freezing scope
  • Work with Technology teams to translate user requirements into functionalities.
  • Testing of developed features and functionalities.
  • Regularly introduce enhancements for increasing usage
  • Work on analytics for measuring the impact of the intranet platform
KRA3 To work with functions within the business to increase the quality of their communication and build expertise within the function xe2x80xa2 Work with corporate functions to ensure quality of their mass communication across various platforms
  • Strategise, design and execute their communication campaigns in sync with defined objectives
  • Support event communication with design templates, content and strategy wherever feasible
KRA4 Focus on safety communications to increase employee awareness on various aspects of safety in sync with defined business objectives xe2x80xa2 Communication campaigns specifically for manufacturing teams on key areas identified by Corporate Safety team
  • Campaigns on behavioural safety for entire UltraTech audience on monthly themes
  • Ensuring quality content and regular updation of Safety microsite
  • Creating safety communication collateral (videos, handbooks, presentations, brochures, etc)
  • Using social media platforms for creating closed groups for UltraTech employees and sharing information on a regular basis
KRA5 Drive the reputation of UltraTech Cement as a trusted brand through regular engagement with external and internal audience on social media platforms xe2x80xa2 Corporate branding through news and updates on Facebook
  • Creating groups on LinkedIn to connect with potential employees and professional communities
  • Regular content updation on Corporate Website
