Digital Hydro intents to connect the hydro power plant equipment, analyses the data and provides customer with recommendations to generate outcomes: decrease costs, mitigate equipment failure risk, increase revenues, and improve equipment operation flexibility.The Hydro Digital Predictive Monitoring & Project Engineer will be part of the remote monitoring and diagnostic team (rM&D) dedicated to Hydro assets. The remote monitoring team is using data coming from heterogenous sources (direct connection to the plant / site or lab measurement) to develop algorithms and models that will support recommendations to increase the global performances of Hydroelectric assets. The role of the Digital Project & Predictive Monitoring Engineer is to analyze the data coming from Hydro machines using GExe2x80x99s Machine Learning software and deliver recommendations on operation and maintenance to the customers and/or to the field service engineers. Prior to that, He is responsible for setting up the digital solution: communication gateways to collect site data and stream to GExe2x80x99s Cloud platforms, perform tag mapping, data modeling, model tunning and improvements. He can be asked to travel to sites from time to time to support the hydro service control system team.
