Job Description


Responsibilities & Key Deliverables1.)Demonstrates good understanding in Automotive systems modelling - BIW, Cradles, Chassis frame, CCB+Steering, Closures and seats NVH
2.)Demonstrates expertise in Static dynamic analysis and deploying optimisation to quickly arrive at modifications to meet targets.
3)Demonstrates good understanding in doing Global Stiffness, Global modes, Dynamic stiffness, ERP
4)Demonstrates the good model updation skills for the correlations of operational NVH performance
5)Variability considerations in simulations
6)Demonstrates expertise in checking effect on system level performances and its impact on Vehicle level performance.
Tools:
1.)Process documentation Creation for the system level NVH simulations and optimisation process
2) Ability to use the Optimization tools - Mode Frontier/NVH Performance DVP\'s:
1.)Ability to create the new DVP for frontloading System level NVH issues
2.)Ability to assess the noise and vibration issues coming in vehicle level performances and ability to related it to system level weakness.
3.)Ability to identify the noise and vibration issues at system level due to Road, EDUexcitation and modal resonances.
4.)Ability to deliver the System level DVP\'s for multiple projects and within bounds of time & NVH performance requirements.
PD Process:
1.)Ability to implement the design solutions and ensure recommendations are part of the design release considering variablity in the design.
2.)Ability to Assess the system level simulations targets towards acheiving it.
3.)Ability to prepare the front loading document and contenting for system level NVH
4.)E Process documentation\'s for system level NVH simulations.
System Design:
1.)Ability to propose the design solution & its implementation with manufacturability, time, cost & performance in mind.
2.)Ability to deliver system level NVH performance for the multiple projects.Experience1 Automotive NVH Expertise.
2 NVH Simulations Experience, 7 years. (Full Vehicle FE Model Building using Altair/Hypermesh, Building Static analysis, Dynamic analysis and optimisation decks using MSC/NASTRAN, Altair/OPTISTRUCT, MSC/ACTRANAltair/Hyperworks
7 years experience
