Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

• Concept preparations and evaluation based on weight, cost, attributes, vehicle variants/ platform modularity.
• Lead Packaging & integration of Vehicle systems.
• Vehicle calculation knowledge like, Wheel base calc, CG calc, Vehicle performance calc.
• Lead DMU packaging reviews, Concerns resolution, Preparation of DMU reports & Sign off.
• Support in Validation concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
• Support in Service concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
• Support in Plant concerns tracking and resolution along with CFT
• Vehicle packaging and DMU sign off considering existing homologation requirements and future upcoming regulations.
• Ensure EN / PR release, EBOM, Installation drg release through PLM and track and coordinate other aggregate releases
• Participate in vehicle benchmarking, Vehicle Target setting and Cascading the same to System level targets.

• Vehicle system level functioning/design of Commercial Vehicle Systems, Categories & Application
• Knowledge of Frame & Suspension design and Key design principles of other aggregates
• Knowledge on manufacturing processes, plant assembly layouts
• Knowledge of SAM process
• DMU (Digital Mock Up), 3D modelling, Assembly, Drafting (vehicle layouts)
• Hands on Experience on Catia & Team center PLM
• Exposure to existing and future Homologation requirements of Commercial Vehicles CAE, Testing & Validation
• Hand on experience on coordination with overall product development team including all aggregates, attributes, design and verification/validation
• Knowledge of product complexity/modularity management, manufacturing methods
• Knowledge of MPDS, APQP, DFMEA, DFA, DFM, DFS, QC Tools
