Date Posted: 2024-06-17Country: IndiaLocation: North Gate Business Park Sy.No 2/1, and Sy.No 2/2, KIAL Road, Venkatala Village, Chowdeshwari Layout, Yelahanka, Bangalore, Karnataka 560064Position Role Type: UnspecifiedOverview:In this role the Lead Engineer will actively participate in the design and development of test equipment hardware, create test engineering artifacts, support estimate preparation, and guide junior engineers on test equipment design and developmentIn performing these activities, the Lead engineer will interface with customers, external suppliers, project managers, engineering managers, mechanical, software, electrical, and systems engineers, as well as the manufacturing organization and report to Test Engineering technical manager.Position: Lead Engineer (P2) -Test Equipment HardwarePrimary Responsibilities:Support test equipment hardware design.Create test equipment design drawings, schematics, BOM and assembly instructions for ATE as per design specificationDevelop verification and validation procedures for ATE to ensure system will perform as specified to meet customer and system requirements.Support test equipment assembly and Integration activitiesCommunicate technical issues through written, verbal and presentation mediaSkill Sets:Experience in Test equipment hardware design including component selection, review/creation of electrical drawings, schematics, and assembly drawings.Hands on experience on various test and measurement equipment like NI hardware, third party Data Acquisition Systems, Power Supply, DSO, DMM, Analyser, signal generators etc.Knowledge in communications protocols like Serial, Ethernet, CAN and ARINCExperience in usage of tools for configuration control, MS Office tools.Familiarity with tools like AutoCAD, OrCAD, PSpice and MS Visio preferable.Basic Qualifications:Department: - AvionicsQualification: - BE / B-Tech / ME / M-Tech Electrical/ Electronics/Instrumentation EngineeringDesired Experience: 4-6 YearsLocation: - BangaloreCollins Aerospace, a Raytheon Technologies company, is a leader in technologically advanced and intelligent solutions for the global aerospace and defense industry.
