Visit our website to learn more!Who will you be working with?As a Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and engineering rail signal systems, including circuit designs and vital logic programming. In this position, you will work closely with customer specifications, railroad standards, and FRA regulations to deliver high-quality signal solutions. You will be expected to bring your expertise to the team and assist in mentoring junior engineers and guiding them in system design and programming.How will you make a difference?As a member of the Signalling group, you will be responsible forChecker of hardware and logic systems.Provides technical risks and mitigation plans.Participate in the review of project scope with managers and project leads, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and project goals.Review and manage document control, including maintaining versioning controls and reviewing deliverables for accuracy prior to submission.Attend project reviews with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication and alignment with project objectives.What do we want to know about you?You must have:Degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or Equivalent,Minimum 7 to 10 years work experience in the field of Railway Signalling,Profound working knowledge Signalling principles,Proficiency in Circuit book & Level crossing designs,Expertise in handling the team.Design wayside and crossing systems, including vital logic controller (VLC) programming and wayside interface unit (WIU) programming.Expertise in AutoCAD & Microstation tool.We would love it if you had:Knowledge onElectroLogIXS including XP4ElectroCodeGCP 4000MicroLok (Hitachi)Relay InterlockingNorth America Class I freight railroad signalingI-ETMS PTC functionalityWhat will your typical day look like?Handling/assigning the tasks to the team membersCollaboration with the stake holdersAct as reviewer for the designs developed by the Peers.Guide junior engineers and contribute to the development of best practices forsignal engineering tasks.Ensuring the deliverables with high quality and timeliness.Our Commitment to Embrace Diversity:Wabtec is a global company that invests not just in our products, but also our people by embracing diversity and inclusion.
