Job Description

As a Lead Test Automation engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating test automation of sophisticated systems and software for the latest home automation in Comfort & Security related IOT devices. You will use your experience in test planning, execution and provide technical expertise to implement quality software in mobile and web which enable millions of end users (homeowners) to command and control their home or business from anywhere, anytime on any mobile devices; Control and manage the security system and smart home devices likes garage doors, thermostats, lights, locks, video doorbell, cameras, and more.Job Duties

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks with the help of deployment and version control tools integrated with defect analysis portals.
• Work within the Agile scrum team to implement quality process, design and build test strategy at component and integration level using automated scripts.
• Oversee the ongoing review of automation test status and identify risks.
• Lead and organize the test automation team to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments, and objectives.
• Develop Acceptance Criteria and test cases for stories, verify product features against acceptance criteria including compatibility, localization.
• Shall be responsible for Design and execution of test plans, test cases, and test scripts at the Functional & Use case based and Scalability tests at the system level.
• Adhere to the testing process and advocate for quality in relevant discussions and forums.
• Support planned or unplanned releases and/or upgrades on various applications and infrastructure hosting them by creating test strategy and executing tests within the schedule.

You Must Have

• Bachelor/Master's degree in engineering (Computer Science Engineering, Electronics & Communications) or its equivalent
• 8 to 10 years of experience in mobile/web Test Automation
• Expertise in using Test Automation tools like Selenium / Appium with Java and/or C#.
• Shall be able to create and maintain Test Automation Frameworks, Test scripts for API and mobile applications in BDD / Test driven development.
• Strong hands-on experience in testing Cloud applications & microservices deployment
• Shall be able to drive single code-based automation for mobile and web application to support different platforms.
• Strong in analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to technically own and drive test projects with a limited level of direct supervision

We Value

• Prior experience in working with CI/CD, Jenkins and cloud base tools like Sauce-lab, LamdaTest, Firebase etc..
• Experience in Agile / SCRUM based testing.
• Should be a good team player and able to communicate effectively with project teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to consistently make timely decisions even in the face of complexity, balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness.
• Can quickly analyze, incorporate, and apply new information and concepts.
