Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

a. Deep knowledge on Automotive Standards.
b. Deep knowledge of Automotive E&E Components/ECUs, Systems functionality and interfacing parts.
c. Experience in arranging E&E test setups for component level functionality testing, load box preparation.
d. Analysing the harness drawing and rooting the path of the Wire Harness by using CATIA and CAPITAL-H software.
e. Good Knowledge in the test processes including Test Case Preparation, Test Execution, Defect tracking and Test log Preparation.
f. Good Knowledge on CAN based Vector tools such as CANalyzer, CANape, Canoe & Flashing Tools.
g. Shall effectively collaborate the various cross functional teams and deliver the product to the necessary vehicle platforms.
h. Resolve Conflicts in discussion with the suppliers on the issue and identifying the root cause and solving the problems along with the suppliers.
i. knowledge of DFMEA process.
j. Failure diagnosis and perform Root cause analysis in Validation Vehicles.

Experience

8 to 10yrs

Industry Preferred

Automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers

Qualifications

BE/BTech/ME/MTech-Electrical & Electronics, Mechatronics, Automotive Electronics, Power Electronics or any equivalent

General Requirements

1. Must have good domain knowledge on basic BEV architecture, EV Powertrain (EPT) systems and components such as VCU, BMS and MCU
2. Must have hands on experience on ETAS INCA, VECTOR CANoe, CANalyzer, ECU Test tool and AVL Concerto, and software flashing tools.
3. Must have knowledge about embedded systems and automotive network communication (CAN, Automotive Ethernet, LIN, etc.)
4. Must have knowledge of Testing concepts, Test processes, Test methodology, Test strategy, Test Tools and techniques.
5. Basic Programming and scripting skills (C / C++, Python, C#)
