The achievers and courageous challenge-crushers we seek, have the following characteristics and skills: Roles & Responsibilities: At least 5 -7 Years\' of work experience on Rolling stock /Loco/Train Door system Excellent knowledge on operation principles of Door system, Door mechanism, actuators and various elements in Door system Knowledge on safety standards for different types of door design in railways. Knowledge on door sensors and controlling elements Knowledge on weather control sealing methods and door opening and closing automation Knowledge on sliding doors, hinged doors and selection of brought outs to the particular mechanism of door design Knowledge on selection of actuators, motors and screw rods for door design Knowledge on door damping methods and controlling switches Knowledge on assembly methodology/mounting methods of various elements in Door system Knowledge on material and fasteners selection as per requirements Knowledge on VPM/PDM documentation Work experience on sheet metal, interior & exterior panels, welding and welding standards Knowledge on GD & T and tolerance stack-up Knowledge on railway standards Estimation of work packages / projects by input/sow study Technical leadership on assigned projects Responsibility on mentoring the team members Accountable for all committed Deliverables on day to day basis Technical review on deliverables with company process compliance and maintaining the defect free delivery Building the capability of team by knowledge sharing sessions, trainings with prior experience Excellent oral & written communication and able to communicate with customers from different global regions Required Skills (Technical Competency): Excellent work experience on rolling stock /Loco/ Train Door system Work Experience on 3D modelling/Assembly and manufacturing drawing creation for railway industry as per standards Work experience on Doors, hinges, Actuators, Motor and screw rod mounting methods Ability to present work executed at offshore to customer SPCs at onsite location Ability to define component and assemblies of sub-systems as per manufacturing & assembly concepts Knowledge on Tolerance stack-up analysis and recommend feasible solutions in accordance with manufacturing capabilities Ability to analyse and propose retrofit solution for existing design modifications on mechanical assemblies Capable of selecting appropriate fasteners for various assemblies Hands-on experience on CATIA V5 and PLM platform like Enovia to create 3D models, 2D drawings and product structure Knowledge on Rail industry and rail operators standards for various regions like DB, EN, IEC Desired Skills: Bachelors or Masters in Mechanical Engineering
