We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevOps Lead to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of 3+ and leading the implementation and maintenance of our infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Terraform and manual methods in multiple AWS Cloud accounts. You will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our systems while fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of 3 DevOps engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure successful project delivery and professional growth.

Design, implement, and maintain the infrastructure and deployment pipelines using Terraform, Docker & various scripting languages.

Collaborate with development, operations, and other teams to understand requirements, identify areas for improvement, and drive the adoption of best practices in DevOps processes and methodologies.

Monitor and optimize the performance, availability, and security of our systems, including AWS resources, RDS databases, Kubernetes clusters, and web servers (Apache, IIS).

Implement and maintain automated testing, continuous integration, and continuous deployment processes to ensure efficient and reliable delivery of applications.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployment, and application performance in a timely manner.

Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the DevOps field, and proactively recommend improvements and enhancements to optimize our systems and processes.

Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the team and across the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

years of experience working in a DevOps role, with 2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity.

Strong proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.

Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and other services.

In-depth knowledge of RDS and its various database engines (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) for database provisioning and management.

Solid understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration and management.

Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell for automation and configuration tasks.

Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, including setting goals, organizing work, resolving conflicts, and providing mentorship.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.

Continuous learner with a passion for staying updated with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).

Experience with Node.js, Tomcat, Apache, and/or IIS for application deployment and management.

Knowledge of web server configuration, load balancing, and reverse proxying.

Familiarity with application security best practices and tools.

Experience with GitHub Actions for workflow automation and CI/CD.
