Job Description


Role Responsibilities

  • You will work in close relationship with our product owner/Business Analyst on the analysis and design of the code changes according to the finalized requirement specifications.
  • Developing and Supporting apps in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices.
  • Ensure work performed comply to coding and security standards, and corporate processes.
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) activities such as unit testing, system testing and code review.
  • Participate in the system integration testing by rendering support to the Test Team and resolve issues reported.
  • Provide support to internal and external parties during the testing stages.
  • Provide support to customers during acceptance testing and post-cutover implementation.
  • Apply knowledge of CI/CD. Working on Bitbucket, Maven/Gradle and Jenkins.
  • Work with multiple stake holders onshore and offshore.
  • Excellent team player and ability to work independently.
  • You will work in an agile team of professionals. You will write clean, scalable, maintainable and easy-to-read code.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science/Engineering or equivalent education.
  • 12+ years of experience in IT industry.
  • Extensive experience in designing, developing and deployment multi-tier web applications using Java/J2EE, SQL technologies
  • Solid Object-Oriented Design/Object Oriented Programming (OOD/OOP) foundation.
  • Strong development experience of micro services architecture in a highly distributed environment using RESTful web-services, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/SpringJPA, JSON.
  • Should be very strong in creating defining Swagger specs for REST APIs, understanding REST principles, Guidelines.
  • Experience with Spring batch framework.
  • Strong knowledge of Application and Web Servers, e.g. Tomcat, Jboss.
  • Experience in use of source code management system.
  • Proficient in data modelling and data management using Relational database systems PostgreSQL.
  • Experience Implementing testing frameworks like Junit/TestNG (Mockito).
  • Experience with test automation, continuous delivery systems and build tools \xe2\x80\x93 Gradle/Maven, JIRA, Jenkins, Git.
  • Knowledge of OAuth/JWT token-based authentication protocol.
  • Good Knowledge & understanding on UNIX/LINUX commands and shell scripting
  • Must have prior experience in leading Technical deliverables. Must be able to effectively communicate & work with fellow team members and other functional team members to coordinate & meet deliverables.
  • Solid hands on development experience in recent years.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills experience working with coordination of multiple teams.
  • EDUCATION Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science/Engineering or equivalent education
