Working as a designer at Signify is dynamic. Youxe2x80x98ll be working on our newest innovations in a diverse environment with people with different backgrounds and nationalities and all around the world. Wexe2x80x99re looking for a Lead Designer whoxe2x80x99ll be responsible for leading a team of creatives in delivering Design contribution to the India business. This includes setting the Design direction, the development of compelling concepts and execution of Design programs. All in close alignment with the business and development team of both professional and consumer. Youxe2x80x99ll be part of the award winning Signify Design Team which consists of over 60 people representing over 18 nationalities with offices in Europe, US and Asia. Together we are responsible for the Design expressions of all of Signify and its brands. We inspire, create and deliver Product Design and User Experiences of all signify products, so enthusiasm and collaboration must be in your DNA.

Drive that strategy by identifying the tactical actions and programs needed and inspire and guide stakeholders to align and prioritize initiatives for the teams executing it
Evangelize and drive user centricity by consulting stakeholders and teams to continuously apply design thinking practices and support culture/process improvement programs
Build and maintain relationships and visibility with key business stakeholders
Present and communicate design strategy in a persuasive, authoritative manner
Generate and deliver innovative product ideas and concepts for various lighting products & solutions
Delivering Design Quality in line with Signify Design Excellence criteria
Lead a team of designers responsible for Design competence, quality and ensure operational KPIxe2x80x98s in line with Signify Design practicesMore about you

• A Bachelor or Master Degree in Product or industrial design or related field.

10 years of experience in Product & System Design within a creative organization.

• Proven experience and working knowledge of leading a small team of creatives.
• Proven track record in engagement with business leadership.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
