We are hiring Visualization Lead !! Join the core group of founding members at the NTE India to build an organization from the ground up. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: We are looking for someone who understands data and builds a story using visual analytics. The person should have excellent communication skills both Oral and written, work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and have experience with developing compelling narratives with data. MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY: Manages a business intelligence team centered on providing insight and aiding in business decision-making. Plans projects to produce reports and perform meaningful quantitative or qualitative analysis addressing impactful business issues and questions. Collaborate with stakeholders to design and plan initiatives and ensures the team has the tools, training, and understanding of the field to produce effective dashboards. Collaborates with Data Analysts, Data Engineers, Data Architect to develop pixel-perfect dashboards and present it to business for acceptance. The business intelligence manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Build Dashboards in Power BI that tell a story, the dashboards should be performant, easy to use, should have drill-down capabilities and intuitive. Wireframes captured during the discovery phase should be the basis for Dashboards. Provides technical guidance and training to business ad-hoc report developers on appropriate usage of available tools. Research visualization best practices and defines UX standards and guidelines. Completes change requests for new reports and enhancements in a timely manner with high quality. Follows Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) using Agile methodology. Follows established change control, release management and incident management processes while developing and deploying reports. Builds and maintains relationships cross-functionally to stay current with the needs and operations of the business functional areas supported. Supports the day-to-day operation of th reporting and analytic solutions by troubleshooting ETL and other errors encountered during data processing. Keeps manager informed of important developments, potential problems, and related information necessary for effective management. Coordinates and communicates plans and activities with others, as appropriate to ensure a coordinated work effort and team approach. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business or a related field. Overall 10-12 years of experience with minimum 5 years in creating BI reports and dashboards and minimum 3 years of mentoring, managing and building teams. Experience in Power BI development using Agile methodology and Azure DevOps. Expertise with Power BI administration and security. Experience with Azure Analysis Services Migration from Azure Analysis services to Power BI. Must have extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries to pull the data into visualization tools and for querying data for analysis purposes. Must have hands-on experience in pulling data from various data sources and building complex data models (Star Schema/ Snowflake) into Power BI. Familiarity with Azure PaaS data platforms. Find patterns in data that tell excellent data stories. Skilled at extracting insights by applying visualization. Experience in defining UX standards and guidelines. Excellent communication skills, particularly presentation skills are required. Experience with system and customer support preferred. Must be willing to work as a team and possess the skills to work independently. Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical design skills.
