Role Overview



We are looking for a seasoned Senior Data Sceintist with a minimum of 6+ years of experience in building ML/AI models for SaaS customers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of crafting exceptional solutions, from concept to delivery, and possess a deep understanding of both 0-1 product development and enterprise SaaS environments.

Key Responsibilities



• AI Experimentation and Innovation:
+ Design and execute AI experiments to explore new methodologies and applications.
+ Develop proof-of-concept models to validate innovative AI ideas.
+ Stay updated with the latest Gen AI and traditional AI/ML advancements.
• AI Product Development:
+ Develop scalable and robust AI modules to be integrated into our products.
+ Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate AI models into customer-facing features.
+ Ensure AI solutions are maintainable, scalable, and deliver high performance.
• Team Leadership and Development:
+ Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of data scientists and AI/ML engineers.
+ Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.
+ Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
• Strategy and Vision:
+ Define and execute the AI vision and strategy for the company.
+ Identify opportunities for AI to drive business value and improve customer experiences.
+ Communicate AI strategy and progress to stakeholders and executives.
• Collaboration and Communication:
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, engineering, and marketing.
+ Present findings and insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and compellingly.
+ Collaborate with external partners and researchers to drive AI innovation.




Qualifications


• Education:
+ Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience:
+ 6+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on AI/ML.
+ Proven track record of working on Gen AI and traditional AI/ML projects.
+ Experience deploying models to Production
+ Experience in leading and mentoring teams.
• Technical Skills:
+ Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java.
+ Strong understanding of machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn).
+ Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Expertise in developing and deploying AI models in a production environment.
+ Expertise in applied mathematics, and proficiency in solving complex optimization problems using Linear Programming (LP), Integer Programming (IP), and Mixed-Integer Programming (MIP).
• Soft Skills:
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Strong communication and presentation abilities.
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
