About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Management Analyst
In this role, you will: • Organize and lead complex companywide initiatives to ensure that data quality is maintained so that data can effectively support business processes
• Oversee analysis and reporting in support of regulatory requirements
• Identify and recommend analysis of data quality or integrity issues
• Evaluate data quality metrics and data quality audits to benchmark the state of data quality
• Make decisions in complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of data governance standards and procedures
• Identify new data sources and develop recommendations for assessing the quality of new data
• Lead project teams and mentor less experienced staff members
• Recommend remediation of process or control gaps that align to management strategy
• Serve as relationship manager for a line of business
• Consult with and provide recommendations to senior management regarding assessments of the current state of data and metadata quality within area of assigned responsibility
• Represent client in cross-functional groups to develop companywide data governance strategies
• Strategically collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level to senior managers to coordinate and drive collaboration on solution design and remediation execution
Required Qualifications: • 5+ years of Data Management, Business Analysis, Analytics, or Project Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications: • Overall experience of 10+ years with 4+ years of Product Owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years' experience with Big Data Technologies, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, or managing Data at Scale on prem and on the cloud
• 3+ years experience with Public, Private, Hybrid Cloud - preferably Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud (GCP)
• 3+ years of experience with data migration from on prem to the Cloud, preferably GCP
• Experience with diverse data platforms including Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Big Query, Hadoop MapR
• Experience with diverse BI stacks, such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker
• Experience with analysis and implementation of Cloud-first and Cloud-native strategies
• Experience in data management governance process design
• Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
Job Expectations: • Author requirements, epics, user stories, tasks and timelines aligned with customer needs and in agreement with scrum team; ensures stories meet the "definition of ready" criteria.
• Co-Lead sprint team ceremonies including daily stand ups, planning sessions with squads and work with the team to decompose stories into development tasks
• Ensure quantifiable and qualitative benefits are identified and committed by the business partners
• Prioritize the book of work for the agile IT development team, balancing non-functional and functional improvements, required end of life / end of support upgrades and bug fixes
• Assist in translating requirements and use cases into test conditions and expected results with the help of SME / work stream leads for integration, functional, performance and user acceptance testing
