Apply today!What you will be doingProfile:-We are seeking an experienced and passionate azure cloud engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building scalable solutions in the Azure Platforms for our Data & Analytics Platform. You may be expected to lead a team of junior engineers towards successful delivery of engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills and leadership ability, with the communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with other members of the IT team.Note that this is not a traditional Data Engineering job. We build platforms and solutions that enable Data Engineers & Scientists accomplish business goals.Typical Duties & Responsibilities:\xe2\x9e\xa2 Manage and administer the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Design, develop, and implement highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure\xe2\x9e\xa2 Analyze existing operational standards, processes, and/or governance to identify and implement improvements.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Engage in conducting Proof of Concepts of various vendor solutions and present final recommendations.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Migrate existing infrastructure services to cloud-based solutions.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Manage security and access controls of cloud-based solutions.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Develop and implement policy driven data protection best practices to ensure cloud solutions are protected from data loss.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Support cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Ensure all infrastructure components meet proper performance and capacity standards.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Participate in an on-call rotation to address and resolve technical escalationsWhat your background should look likeEducation Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related fieldRequired Skills and Experience\xe2\x9e\xa2 4+ years of Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.\xe2\x9e\xa2 6+ years of experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases, and application systems\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience working within an Agile framework.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience in IaC development with Terraform, Azure CLI, Puppet, and Ansible \xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience Azure PowerShell.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience with Python, data analysis using Python, working on Python solutions in Azure.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience with C#, frameworks for apps and solutions on Azure.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience with Windows, Linux VMs, networking, routing & firewalls.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services, ADF, Logic Apps, AKS, ADLS, etc..\xe2\x9e\xa2 Proficient with GIT, ADO to perform source code management.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience with Terraform Cloud and Azure DevOps\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience with Jira and ServiceNow\xe2\x9e\xa2 Competence in a wide range of IT skills including networking, systems administration, data protection, information security and CI/CD tooling.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Enthusiastic learner with the ability to teach and mentor teammates and cross functional partners.\xe2\x9e\xa2 Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a keen attention to detail\xe2\x9e\xa2 Azure Certifications:o Azure Administrator Associateo Azure Developer Associateo DevOps Engineer ExpertPreferred Qualifications\xe2\x9e\xa2 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 IT experience\xe2\x9e\xa2 Experience with administration or development using Azure Databricks & Unity Catalog\xe2\x9e\xa2 Azure Certifications:o Azure Security Engineer Associateo Azure Solutions Architect Experto Azure Data Engineer AssociateWhat Cencora offersAll team members globally are provided with basic life insurance, personal accident insurance, business travel accident insurance, and EAP resources at no cost.
