Lead, Corporate Actuarial
Gurgaon, Haryana IndiaWork closely with the actuarial team and take part in various analytical projects. The team conceptualizes designs and develops innovative MI (management information) reports for senior management. Ownership of data for any analysis lies with the team; so the team members are extremely proficient in handling large databases and creating and maintaining databases. One of the core objectives of the team is to design and automate manual processes using the latest technologies. With a high level of technical expertise enhanced with actuarial and financial knowledge, the team delivers high-end analytical answers.DISCOVER your opportunity
What will your essential responsibilities include?\xc2\xb7 Ownership of end-to-end close and data processes required for undiscounted and discounted booking process.\xc2\xb7 Defining and overseeing internal controls\xc2\xb7 Reporting and communicating the booking results to variety of stakeholders.\xc2\xb7 Manage a team of 5 people.\xc2\xb7 Oversee the development and maintenance of complex data mappings that impact actuarial and finance data.\xc2\xb7 Partner with other data stakeholders to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.You will report to Head of Data and close, Corporate Actuarial.QualificationsSHARE your talent
Were looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Post-graduate having graduated from (B.E./B Tech/CS/IT/BSc). Masters ideally.\xc2\xb7 Relevant work experience preferably in the Insurance industry, financial services or consultancy with a minimum of 14 years experience.\xc2\xb7 Understand computer application skills like SQL, Excel, Visual Basics Application, PowerBI, Qlikview, Python and/or R.\xc2\xb7 Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skillsDesired Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Robust computer application skills, specifically Excel, Access, and Visual Basic Applications.\xc2\xb7 Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.\xc2\xb7 Keen attention to detail.\xc2\xb7 Outstanding oral and written communications skillsFIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
