About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Control Management Officer to support International Finance Control team In this role, you will: Lead complex initiatives designed to mitigate current and emerging risks with broad impact Act as key participant in monitoring, evaluating, and measuring the impact of decisions practiced in Control Management functional area Monitor moderately complex business specific programs, and provide risk management consulting to support the business in designing and implementing risk-mitigation strategies Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report on the impact of decisions and controls to the relevant business group or functional area Develop and implement risk monitoring and risk reporting processes and controls Collaborate with relevant business group to identify current and emerging risks associated with business activities and operations, and provide guidance in developing and implementing risk-mitigating strategies Lead Control Management project or virtual teams Build strong risk reporting capabilities and leverage business intelligence to perform analytics that will help in better decision making, risk forecasting and better risk management Required Qualifications, International: 12+ Experience in Risk Management, Control Management, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education Functional knowledge of Tableau /Alteryx. Must have advance knowledge of excel, hands on experience in preparing and publishing reports to Senior management. Knowledge of VBA/Macro will be an advantage. Desired Qualifications: Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Functional knowledge of Tableau /Alteryx. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skill Ability to escalate issues Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels Knowledge and understanding of risk management Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) such as reporting and issue management Solid conflict management and decision making skills Strong project management skills Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment Knowledge across enterprise risk management framework, including: risk identification, risk appetite and strategy, risk-related decisions, processes and controls, risk analytics and governance. Deep understanding of risk framework, corporate/business policies, and programs to translate into plans for the business, function and/or risk type. Deep technical understanding of specific business operations, processes, products, and customer interactions and where they manifest risk. Ability to drive alignment across stakeholder groups to develop and deliver repeatable end-to-end risk management solutions and controls aligned with business/customer processes. Ability to engage in constructive credible challenge when necessary. Ability to design and implement control analytics and reporting to drive effective decision making and results.
