Powered by our purpose xe2x80x93 the relentless pursuit of a world that works better for people xe2x80x93 we serve and transform leading enterprises, including the Fortune Global 500, with our deep business and industry knowledge, digital operations services, and expertise in data, technology, and AI.Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant-Automation TesterIn this role, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery by leveraging strong technical expertise and a meticulous approach to quality assurance.ResponsibilitiesWrite and execute reusable, modular, and scalable BDD automation test scripts for functional, regression, and end-to-end testingDesign, develop, and maintain web automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Playwright or Webdriver IoDesign, develop, and maintain mobile automation frameworks using tools like AppiumPlan and manage test automation activities, ensuring timely executionPerform detailed root cause analysis up and down the software stack using a variety of debugging toolsIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like JenkinsEnsure application compatibility across different browsers, platforms, and devicesPerform API testing and automation.Maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, automation strategy, execution logs, and defect reportsWork closely with development, QA, and product teams to align automation strategies with project goalsManage test efforts using Jira for test case management and defect tracking.Conduct thorough testing of applications, ensuring alignment with user requirements and business goalsConducting UAT as per the strict guidelinesResearch and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies to improve testing efficiency and coverageQualifications we seek in you!Minimum Qualifications / SkillsStrong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.Solid understanding of Agile methodologiesStrong experience in mobile testing and automation using Appium or similar tool (both IOS and Android)Strong experience in Web automation using Selenium/WebdriverIo or PlaywrightExperience in writing and maintaining test documentationsExtensive professional experience as a software engineer or SDET focusing on test automationStrong programming skills in language such as PythonUnderstanding of BDD frameworks like Pytest BDD or Behave or CucumberHands on experience with modern testing tools and frameworks such as BrowserStack, Webdriver.io, Playwright, and others.
